Hey -- way late to the party, I was MIA from the internet for 5 days crewing a race out east!
I don't know, I guess I probably should just because I have a qualifier and it'll give me extra tickets for future years since my chances of getting in right now are SUPER slim.
My big goal race for 2015 just became the Big Foot 200 in WA/OR...want to come crew/pace that?!
No pressure at all...but with a race that long there'll be plenty of time to swap out pacers and getting crew for 3 days will probably be rough when considering personal schedules!
I have to get an official entry first, I'll know Nov 14th!
How would you not want to explore 200 miles of those views?!
Oh dear God. I'm ... not good on questionably-edged trails. Or bridges. Or really anything where I can fall. Sections of that video look like my worst nightmare. I'm still down (if available) but DAMN. If I paced, you might spend the entire time encouraging *me*. I don't even like driving up the hill to Tahoe because sections of I-80 are terrifying. LOL

What distance do your pacers pace you? We are usually back East at that time of year, but if we were here (Washington State) I'd seriously consider helping as a crew/pacer!

Haha, so if it's technical trail you should be pacing at night so you can't see the drops!

They don't have the specifics up yet but it sounds like anything after the first 50 miles is paceable and any aid station that allows crew access will allow for a pacer change -- so I'm guessing from 6-20 mile stretches, depending upon the location.
I'll keep y'all posted with how it goes and I may be crowd sourcing support!
In all honesty, mrs.jacinthe -- if my brain still works having someone else to encourage may be a good distraction!

Alright mrs.jacinthe + Mushe...that Bigfoot 200 miler is out. They just posted registration, it's $950! Which is insane. I realize it's a point-to-point 215 mile race, I do, but I cannot justify that cost! Plus travel + bribing crew/pacers with transportation/accommodations...I can't pull that off!
Plus, I'd rather run 5 other races with the $950... #sadpanda
