I want to share this - something I've wanted to do since I moved into my place last year! I used Easy Closets for the 2nd time (also used them for my coat closet last year). I love the way everything turned out - it's so much more pleasant to look at, haha. I also bought wooden hangers in a petite size so I wouldn't get the shoulder bumps in my sleeves anymore.
Whoa! Amazing! Do you mind sharing the cost, or a general ballpark? We have a huge walk-in closet that we share, but the white wire ClosetMaid system is falling apart, so we need to get something better in there. No idea how much it's going to run us.
ceceliamarie - Yes, precise measurements are crucial to to design process so everything fits perfectly! Wall A is 72" wide. Wall B is 58" wide. And Wall C is 65.75" to the door frame, but I knocked a few inches off the width of the shoe unit to make the walk-in area a little easier access.
YahYahs! and picksthemusic The total with tax was somewhere around $1300. Not sure why they charged me tax since I live in Georgia and it's a Michigan company shipping from New Jersey.
Wow that turned out great! It must feel so refreshing to walk into that every morning. That is the company I wanted to use for our master walk-in but DH vetoed it and tried making it himself (dressers and all). It looks great but two walls aren't done (the shoe shelf/additional hanging and the mirrored jewelry storage cabinet) and it's been 10 months or so. Sigh. I don't know when they will ever get done with the baby on the way.
