You know what would be awesome? If every week during the summer we could have a 3 day weekend. I'd work a few extra hours a week in the winter to get constant 3 day weekends when there's sun.
I had a good weekend in vancouver with h and my parents for my moms bday. I tried to make good food choices, but it was a little hard. I hope I offset it with all of the walking. I am up a little bit from my last weigh in, but I'm really hoping its mostly water.
morning! back on dayshift! yay! i love it..i'm already 2 hours into my work day.. the morning hustle and bustle we have around here really helps the days go by.
i had a pretty good weekend. spent saturday in bellevue at the arts fair, and then some shopping. i bought a new dress from cache....and i'm REALLY IRRITATED i can't find the picture online, because i was so excited to come here and post it and show you guys. it's gorgeous.
and healthy-wise...i'm healthy!! i really want a pair of shoes that is out of "budget" (meaning h would be pissed if i bought them)...so i told him that i want to "earn" them (thanks amanda!)...every situp that i do, counts as $$. once i hit the cost of the shoes, i can buy them . so far, i've done 400 situps this weekend, and my goal is to do about 3-500 a day. my abs are already killing me.
and yes! i wore uw's loubs on sunday. but the pictures are on h's phone and he didn't send them to me (jerkface). i have one photo on my phone, but it's upside down/funny weird, and of my feet only.
Ooooh, I like your three day weekends idea UW! I could have gone for an extra day of sleeping in this week. Instead, I rolled out of bed at 4:30 and was in the office at 6. Fun fact, the lights in the building don't actually come on until 6:05 in the morning. Now I know.
I barely slept last night and have lots of fires to put out, so today's gonna be a long day. I was telling H yesterday how frustrated I was with my weigh in, and he suggested it might be because my sleep has been really off and on lately. I know that not getting enough sleep messes with cortisol levels and that can mess with weigh loss, so I'm going to do everything in my power to leave work at a decent hour, get in a workout, eat some dinner and get my butt in bed tonight. I definitely find I sleep better on days when I've worked out, and I've been slacking a bit with that lately. Vicious cycle.
Morning everybody! I was awol here over the weekend because we were busy doing house stuff. Almost everything is unpacked, the TV is set up (but not the speakers ), the fence is painted, and the garage is almost in order. It finally feels like we live here and have a few small things to do around the house, instead of being in the middle of a move! Clearly I was feeling energized and woke up at 6 instead of the usual 6:30 or whatnot.
Porr ziggy has been wheezing off and on, but mostly on, since Thursday . Hopefully the vet has an opening this morning so I can get her seen to. Other than that it's a long day downtown so that I have time to go to the gym and finally do my squats test.
Today, I'm going to ride my bike around Mercer Island twice. It might get a little boring, but it's a nice ride and it's fairly close and I get to get out of my neighborhood.
I'm going to come home and run a little bit.
And then swim this evening.
I know it seems like a lot, but I have time today to get it all in and I am not sitting home on my ass today like I did yesterday!
Good morning! I am about to head to work and h is about to take Edmund to the pedis office. He's I'm really good spirits right now considering. Two more days of work before I get my weekend. Hope everyone has a good Monday.
sfgal - if your ready to share, what happened to your poor doggy? (And FWIW, I cried over my last cat for several weeks and up to 2 years later, whenever I thought about him.)
I did pretty well, healthy wise, over the weekend. Had my massage Saturday morning then spent the rest of the day until mid-afternoon with my sister at Redmond Town Center...and all I bought that entire time was a crepe for lunch (which are suprisingly much lower calorie then I thought) then decided to swing past Crate &Barrel at Bellesquare. Didn't realize it was the art fair time so I wondered that a bit before going in C&B and posting to crazy-lady on here for way too long before finishing my shopping Yesterday I got sun despite putting on sunscreen before gardening I started building the herb spiral but got stuck after 5 rocks as then it had sequed into the ones too heavy for me. Re-weeded my lilac tree bed and spread out weed suppressant under newspaper under mulch. I was under calories both days!

I'd say I did pretty good over the week end healthy wise. I ran six miles saturday, but then I ate a declisious veggie burger with cheese and a blackberry milk shake. I did however, split my fries with H. So that's healthier right? Then we watched the Dark Night at iPic in Redmond. I don't care what every one says. I like Anne Hathaway as cat women. Some of her lines were corny, but that's no her fault.
Yesterday the bridal shower went really well, but man was I exausted by the end of the day. I really miss bkb too. I hate it when I can't spend a lot of time with her on the week ends. I can't wait to get to thursday for our mommy/daughter day.
H is on a staycation all week too. It is kinda nice to know I have a SAHH waiting for me at home.
after a full week of drinking and pigging out with friends/family in town, I realized how crappy I felt on Sunday and kicked it in major gear. DH felt it too! he even went for a run with me on Sunday, which made me super duper happy!
luckily, I'm already a good 3 pounds down from yesterday's god-awful weigh-in, which makes me happy happy happy.
went to the gym this AM with my sister and did a great chest/tri lift session. I also realized that I need to add some cardio too.
this is not a happy monday for me - when I got to work my laptop froze and now it won't turn on I'm leaving soon to go to the apple store in hopes that all is not lost.
I wasn't here all morning because I didn't know how to find the board, lol - luckily husky saved the day. Also, now I'm at our giant new Mac desktop and it is NOT hidden at all... so I have to be sneaky.
Not much happening here. I've decided that I generally suck at being healthy. I'm on a baby steps method of making better choices but still not being fully on-board. I did turn down Ezell's chicken for lunch! One step forward.

Hi! I spent most of the weekend unpacking, good times. Since no one is home on Mondays, today is Abby's first day at doggie day camp! I hope she has a good time! ;D
I work til 6 and I'll probably be organizing our books, movies and video games.
