1. Same as always. But. BUT I have a ten miler this weekend.
2. I didn't get to do much at all. Andrew didn't have school on Tuesday, and I had to fix DH's screw up on Thursday. Those are my main two workout days.
3. Neck is jacked, still. I just keep pushing through it, but it's going to bite me in the ass.

muppetinma, I know you're going to do great on the run, I am so sorry your neck situation is bad again though,
I'm back this week!! I haven't run since the race, but that's because of time constraints. If I find the energy, I'm going to try and go for a short one this afternoon. And I'm hoping to do four easy runs total this week, 3 days of strength, yoga. Since Matt will be away for the next three weeks, all my runs will be with a kid or both and I think that counts as some strength
Next big race will be a half in Hawaii in April. I will be racing that one for time. I want a sub 2. I WILL get it. Only need to shave 6 minutes off my time, and I think that's doable!
I know I check in and out but I have been trying hardcore these past two weeks. 1. What is your workout plan for this week? I am on week three of 21 day fix work outs. I am so proud, I brought my weights, yoga mat, exercise attire and the DVDs to do while we are here. And I did my workout this morning!! I also did not over eat for dinner and breakfast. We are also at a waterpark so I am doing 50 quadrillion stairs and carrying C around a lot.
2. How did your workouts go last week? Anything you want AW? I did all my workouts every day except for Saturday because life got in the way but I did the one I missed and Sundays yesterday.
3. How are you feeling? Any injuries/concerns? I am feeling stronger. My legs are not killing me like I could barely walk like the first day.
I think most of us who had races have run them, so what's next on the horizon? If you don't run, what are your winter workout plans? Just to keep moving on. there is a new program in sale right now with weights that I might get with birthday money.
I ran for the first time in over 2 years last Friday. In like 3 2-minute spurts. lol. Taking it slow. I'm going to try to do it 3x/week when I get home from work. My shins were sore yesterday, but my thighs haven't been as sore as I thought they'd be. I'm really out of shape.
Tamb, that's actually tremendous! 2 to 3 minute spurts is a huge start!
1. What is your workout plan for this week? I'm still in recovery mode, so I'll do 3 short, easy runs, and a longer (6 mile) run on Saturday. I'll do some cross training too.
2. How did your workouts go last week? Anything you want AW? I listened to my body for the most part.
3. How are you feeling? Any injuries/concerns? No injury, but I decided to do a spinsanity class on Saturday since I couldn't run. My inner thighs are still sore.
I think most of us who had races have run them, so what's next on the horizon? If you don't run, what are your winter workout plans? For better or worse my workouts stay the same regardless of season. I do midweek runs indoors, and long runs outdoors(weather permitting). The only change is what I wear.
Good luck muppetinma!! I hope your neck feels better.
Eta- me too creamsiclechica! I'm chasing my sub 2:00 half in December. I know you'll get it and then some.

That's great! I tend to run in 4-5 minute runs with a 1 minute walk. Easier on the legs. And I'm lazy, lol.
1. What is your workout plan for this week? Run 3 times, anywhere between 3 and 5 miles depending on my motivation and level of laziness.
Yoga to stretch out my hips
2. How did your workouts go last week? Anything you want AW?
Pretty well, I ran by the lake which was lovely.
3. How are you feeling? Any injuries/concerns? Feeling pretty good! I'm taking it easy, doing run/walk combos bc I kept getting injured. Sometimes I think my body isn't meant for exercise, lol.

1. What is your workout plan for this week?
Sun: 800's, 4 miles total Today: eh...family run with the stroller or 30 min tempo Tue: rage...I realized I have meetings all day tomorrow, so can't run over lunch and made HH plans with my friend, so no work out for me. FWP. Wed: 30 min Tempo Thur: easy 3 Fri: off Sat: 10 mile RACE. Yikes.
2. How did your workouts go last week? Anything you want AW?
I had one confidence building run...otherwise my pattern of having shitty runs the week before a race continues.
3. How are you feeling? Any injuries/concerns?
Concerned about my speed for Saturday. I want to get a PR, but am not sure this time. My SIL whom I planned to run this with is running faster than me for her long runs, so I guess I need to keep up with her.

My race is Saturday!
After that, I will still be working towards my goal of 1000 running miles in 2014. And I plan to start bootcamp class first week of November! It's up to 4x a week over lunch. I am excited for a change. I have to pay for it, but with my work discount it's reasonable. ($35 a month)
I'm planning on running 2-3 times this week. It is supposed to be gorgeous this weekend, so maybe I'll try and run my own unofficial 5k.
2. How did your workouts go last week? Anything you want AW?
I ran 2 mi yesterday morning (7am!) in 33F weather. There was frost on the ground and I could see my breath, but it was (kind of) fun. Unfortunately, I hadn't eaten breakfast yet, so my energy was low. Regardless, I'm pleased that I went so early in the morning.
3. How are you feeling? Any injuries/concerns?
I feel great and my husband is encouraging me to up my pace. He's a fast runner (8 min mile), so I have a lot of catching up to do. If I start pushing it, I'll have to make sure to keep up on my stretching before and after.
Winter plans?
I'm really sad that my outside running will soon be over. We don't have a gym membership or a treadmill, but we do have the P90X system, so I'll likely be doing workouts from that this winter.

1. What is your workout plan for this week? few short runs this week, 2x strength training, and a 7-8 mile run this weekend.
2. How did your workouts go last week? Anything you want AW? pretty good except the day I tried to run on the treadmill. I hate the treadmill so much. I did 11 miles yesterday and felt pretty good.
3. How are you feeling? Any injuries/concerns? feeling great!
Future plans. I'm actually running another half on 11/1. I was going to just do the 5K but was pursuaded to do the half since the medal is in the shape of a cool skull.
When winter hits, I'm going to focus more on HIIT and strength training inside the gym.

2. How did your workouts go last week? Anything you want AW? Workouts went well! I ran 9 miles on Saturday so that was exciting for me
3. How are you feeling? Any injuries/concerns? I feel good except once I get to mile 7 or so my hip hurts, not unbearable, but noticeable.
I think most of us who had races have run them, so what's next on the horizon? If you don't run, what are your winter workout plans? Savannah 1/2 on 11/8!
