I am so happy that you are going on your journey regarding your BM and BD. I think that is incredibly brave.



mp has been awesome here in my new home. I love hanging out with her…my only complaint is that she is not available every day to make me laugh in person. You are a really cool chick, you seriously inspire me with the work you are doing with Street Mutts. I wish I could have half of your professional gumption.



WinterIsComing is like my separation buddy. Our situations are different, but it’s amazing that we are kind of coming through this all at the same time. If I lived in my hometown, I would totally be bugging her to hang out because she is fun and lively.



berbles is really growing on me. I mean, she was cool from the start, but more and more, its like you get me. One day. We will have a g2g…Maybe we will meet in the middle. Bakersfield day trip? LOL.



I am still getting to know everyone, and I don’t know all the stories that brought everyone here, but as I piece them together, I realize that my divorce is such a piece of cake. I am lucky that I married a nice guy…an idiot with some issues, but he is a nice guy. Some of you have had to deal with stuff that I think would absolutely break me. That included pretty much everyone with kids. I don’t know how you do it.

@stpete Thanks! I love the analogy to Frogger. Now that I have finally started to get back out there, I completely agree. The anticipation of dating was way worse than the reality I love hearing your stories on the board and appreciate how honestly and upfront you are with sharing. It is really helpful to hear the good and the bad/hard.

MauMau I love seeing how happy you have become in your new life. I know you really struggled with moving away from your job and back in with family. Recently though, you seem to be taking life by the horns and embracing the changes. I love hearing stories of you going out exploring by yourself or going on "maybe dates" with cute guys.
