We rented out the large space (30 ppl) at the The Farm @ Swan's trail in Snohomish. It was in a barn. Seating was a picknic bench. Nice space sheltered from the weather. You can also bring in food and drinks (just not crock pots or anything that needs to be heated). You can order items from their bakery/refreshments when you get there. We ordered cider donuts (which were AMAZING and totally worth the calories). A lot of the other food looked great too, we just didn't order it.
The space covers activities for ten kids. We thought it covered pumpkins for the adults too, but it doesn't. All the activities are free for the adults, so that's nice. The farm hand asked us how many kids and we said seven. I wish we would have just said ten so we could have given the pumpkin coupons to our friends. Oh well.
The smaller space holds 20 ppl and covers ten kids as well. They don't enforce the number of people in the space, so if I did it again I'd just book the smaller space because the tables are the same size and we'd save $50 dollars.
In my reseach you can also do parties at Bob's but it's at a picnic table with a canvas tent over it. Given the weather in october is super unpredictable we liked the security of the barn, plus having extra space to set up food and other items.
BKB and all her guests (even the adults) loved the patch and everyone had a great time. In fact if the weather is nice we might go back tomorrow or Wednesday to play. It's not too expensive and she could play there all morning or afternoon.
when we went to foster's farm, there was a space for a party (and kids having a party), so that one is avail, too, but i don't know how great it is for kids. there really wasn't a whole lot to do...
Petting zoo Kids play area with a three story slide (which bkb wasn't afraid of at all), swings, sand box, hay barn, Duck races Kid sized corn maze Jump area Cow train Hay ride
I think I'm forgetting stuff but we were there for three hours and only went to half the farm.
It's a small farm between Tacoma and Puyallup, Double R Farm. They had a tractor-pulled hay ride, pumpkin sling shot (kid and adult versions), pumpkin patch and pumpkin/gourd stand. We had babies/toddlers and big kids, so there was plenty to do. The preschool crowd would need an activity, or to keep it short. It was perfect for us, and affordable.
