I'm going to purchase our kitchen soon and I'm looking for some reassurance that there isn't some huge flaw in the design. If there is a flaw though, please tell me!
The stove, fridge and sink are all staying in the same general spot as where they are now so that shouldn't be too complicated. The gap between the stove and the wall is because the wall juts in there. It comes in 7 inches but the designer will only let me make it 12 inches, so I just left the space myself.
I realize that leaves a relatively narrow walkway but moving/removing the wall just isn't in the budget.
We will probably keep the existing sink so that is why there isn't one shown. I'm not sure why it won't fill in the counter there. I will probably use these as a backsplash, though I am not sure what to do about the existing, terrible, tile on the walls. www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/70227081/

I think you need to share your login for other people to see your kitchen plan. Can you post your screenshots, or even draw it out on paper or in PowerPoint?

For the space you're working with, what you've come up with works. The walkway will be 44, which is fine--48" is the recommended space for two people working in the kitchen; so you're good.
The only real problem I see is that you have the cabinets to the ceiling. Unless you have a straight ceiling (and I've never seen a straight ceiling), this is not going to work. You have room to bring the cabinets down (standard is 54" AFF, and you're at 60" AFF).
Also, did you leave enough room for the back door to fully swing open? I show the length between the end of the cabinet and the wall at 32"; when you add an inch of overhang for the counter, you bring that down to 31". It's something I'd take a second look at.

Thank you! I may switch to the 15" pull out rather than the 18". That's a good point about the ceiling too. Nothing else has been straight so far so I doubt that is. The cabinets weren't supposed to be to the ceiling but that happened when I changed the ceiling height. I can readjust.
