I went to ikea to look last week while in a town with one and I liked some cribs. I also am leaning towards a hemnes dresser and maybe even a glider/recliner from there.
Does anyone else have furniture for their nurseries from there? Thoughts on it? The cribs seem smaller than average- will I have to buy linens from ikea to fit or are there other options? Anyone have specific furniture they love?
We have the sundvik crib, hemnes 8 drawer and the poang in the nursery. The crib is normal crib size (all their cribs are!). I have the hemnes in my room as well and love it.
I did get a custom cover for the poang so it went with the room more!
I just assembled the 8 drawer Hemnes dresser last weekend. It was a pain in the ass but I'm pleased with the quality. It's very solidly built and will hold a ton of stuff. I want one for our room now!

We have the Gulliver crib and it's standard size. It was easy to put together. We also have a Hemnes dresser and I really like it because the drawers are easy to open/close and they have stoppers.
All our nursery furniture is from Ikea except the Lazy Boy chair. We have 2 Gulliver cribs and they fit standard size crib linens, the Hemnes 8 drawer dresser, the Hemnes night stand and the Kallax cube shelf unit. All seem very sturdy, I would say the dresser was the biggest pain to put together but is a great size and fits plenty for 2 babies!
We have the 3-drawer Hemnes dresser, along with the matching nightstand, and are pleased with both. They are well made as far as Ikea furniture goes, and the dresser is surprisingly roomy.
We looked at the cribs, but I didn't see any I was crazy about. Plus I wasn't sure if they would work with a crib skirt, which I was set on using.
We have the sundvik crib, hemnes 8 drawer dresser, a poang chair, and two different expedit units. We also have one of their crib mattresses. We didn't buy any of their sheets, our crib bedding for DD is from Dwell Studio and the sheets fit great and are easy to change. The crib skirt we bought splits at all 4 corners so we just tucked the two end panels up on top in the mattress support and left the two long panels hanging.
