Hi,
I'm trying to make a place mat sized water blob for my daughter. I've bought extra thick plastic painters tarp, but I can't seem to get it to seal. I've tried heating it with an iron, super glue, super glue and a hot iron. Anybody have any other suggestions? I was thinking maybe shrink wrap, but I wouldn't even know how to begin to use that.
In case you have no idea what I'm taking about, lol, here's a link to a water blog. The one I want to make is a place mat sized one so my daughter has something to amuse herself when we go out to dinner.

shortcake2675, I was hoping for something more interactive. I did a search and found shrink wrap bags, I was thinking to trying that out. It's cheap, so I won't be out too much $ if that fails. I'm not giving up. LOL

Why not just use a freezer safe ziploc and tape it shut? Or mini water bottles filled with trinkets and water and then the lid gets glued on? The kind of quiet book I'm talking about has things to do on each page. Like this: www.imagineourlife.com/2012/01/02/2011-quiet-book-pages/ Good luck!
