Can we swap green smoothie recipes? I know there are approximately eleventy billion online, but it's overwhelming. What do you put in yours? After some dreadful experimentation in the beginning, I've had the same one nearly every day for a few months and I need inspiration.
Mine is: frozen mixed-greens (the power greens mix from costco), full-fat plain yogurt, whole milk, honey, frozen banana, frozen blueberries, ground flax.
I blend up spinach or kale with ground flax seed and freeze them in 2 oz portions. That's the base. Then I let the kids put in whatever fruit they want- usually some berries, banana, mango, pineapple, peaches- a squirt of honey and water. I don't like milk or yogurt in my smoothies. I buy fruit cheap and freeze or just buy frozen.

Frozen greek yogurt cubes, handful of spinach, banana, a bit of oatmeal (cooked or uncooked), almond milk or 2%, and a splash of PB2 (powdered peanut butter).
Thanks, y'all! Lots of almond and vanilla almond milk here; maybe i'll try that. I have been surprised by how easy these are to make. Definitely under 7 minutes and that includes washing out the blender.
We do the same thing every morning-- Frozen kale, an apple, a banana, some frozen mixed fruit, flax seeds, chia seeds, rolled oats, and water. My H makes it in the morning before he leaves and leaves mine in the fridge so I'm not sure on the quantities of the ingredients.
