Any brands you are absolutely loving? I'm looking to expand and replace some pots and pans and always love other input. I've realized that some cheaper things don't last that long. I do want affordable pieces though. I love the look of le creuset, but it's not in my budget. What I want-- a Dutch oven with lid, a large and small frying pan, a soup pot. I prefer non stick. I have a nice stainless steel skillet, but everything sticks! I also have some cast iron which is great for some things. My one calphalon frying pan is shot. Input? Anything else you rec? TIA

I personally love All Clad for my pots and pans. For cast iron, you cannot beat Le Creuset. I've had other brands and they just don't hold up. Marshall's and TJ Maxx tend to have a lot of older models there. Have you thought of looking there?
I love le creuset, but have a few pieces from Lodge, and I can't even tell the difference. Also they have a le creuset outlet so is that an option for you?

Really? I have both and I found the Lodge stains horribly. My Le Creuset comes clean every time. How do you clean yours?

The outlets are kind of far (1.5 hr drive) so I wouldn't go exclusively for that. Never heard of lodge...off to google! Thanks.

Uhhh just soap and water? I haven't had any staining issues. Weird!

My favorite, favorite bakeware/casserole pieces are by Emilie Henry--they're amazing, withstand high heat and do not stain. They're not something you'd use on the stove top though.
