I had a starbucks make it a chestnut praline chai latte ( I don't do coffee ). It was sweet and delicious! But I also like a toffee nut chai latte.
Ooh that sounds good. I don't do coffee either. Will they make anything into a chai? Like a gingerbread one for example? How do I order it? I am always disappointed that they don't have special seasonal teas

I don't think I have ever had a chestnut, but I am excited to try it. I think their hazelnut is kind of bitter though, so I hope this is better. My company has a faux Starbucks in the building so hopefully they will carry it.
There's probably not even REAL chestnuts or pralines IN there.
Yes, I'm excited.
Definitely not chestnuts, which I don't know if that's good or bad for me.
Good, because I'm allergic to them, and was having a mini panic that I wouldn't be able to order anything at Starbucks now because I over react to things
and
Bad because a. now I can have one and will probably like it b. if it doesn't have chestnuts in it, what kind of chemical fuckery IS in it to make it taste that way.
I'm excited to try it. It has to be better than the PSL. I get one every year or two then remember that it tastes like a scented candle.
Why don't they spread out the good seasonal drinks? Almost all year, I get black coffee or iced coffee with a little cream. Christmas gets all the good stuff! (And yes, I know they can make a peppermint mocha all year, but I don't want to drink one in July.)

I'm glad to hear people didn't think it was too sweet. That was my initial reaction when hearing about it. I'll definitely give it a try when it comes out.
I am so irrationally excited for the Starbucks red holiday cups to come out again. They just make me cheerful when I see them.
