Yes! I've been having them for a while now. The contraction sessions usually last about 2 hours (although one day they lasted much longer than that) and go away on their own. Taking Tylenol seems to help a bit and helps me to determine if it's actual labor or false labor. Also, a nice warm shower with the water spraying on my back makes the pain feel so much better.
Oh, and as of last week I was only 50% effaced with no dilation. I'm pretty sure my body is playing a big joke on me. I'm going in for another appointment tomorrow and am praying there's some dilation!

Every time I'm like...is this it? Should I call my parents to come get the kid? Then they end.

I feel your frustration! I woke up at 4am with contractions yesterday and thought I'd have to wake up my husband, but I took Tylenol after about an hour and it took the edge off of them and I managed to fall asleep for a bit before my daughter woke up.
I'm 35 weeks and having very infrequent Braxton hicks. Most of the time I'm not sure if I'm having one or if I'm just kind of uncomfortable lol. My dr seemed surprised that I wasn't having more.
I'm not quite 30 weeks and I've had a few occasions with painful contractions. They stop on their own. At my gestation, it scares the crap out of me. My OB did a cervical check yesterday and I'm still thick and closed.

I had two, what I assume are BH contractions on Tuesday night. They weren't pleasant but they didn't stop me in my tracks or anything. They weren't any more painful than a blood pressure cuff. Just really "squeezy".
Yes, I have those a lot towards the end. Usually they go away in 2-3 hours. I've had about 3 nights of them this time and they really mess with your mind. We want to go super early to the hospital this time since we live far away and my last labor was fast once things got moving so I never know if this is it or not. I feel like we will probably have so e false alarm trips in the next couple weeks. My dr says it's totally normal especially in 2nd time or more moms.
I've been having regular BH for a month and a half now but they are getting more and more frequent. They also seem to be getting stronger. They don't necessarily hurt but they make other things hurt more (my ribs, lower abdomen and groin muscles, and strong baby movements while having a BH). By the time the evening comes the pain is a lot worse. I also can't seem to get enough sleep. Luckily I'm still sleeping pretty well but even if I go to bed right after I get home from work I'm still exhausted the next morning.
36w + 3 and have had lots of cramping and Braxton Hicks for a few weeks. They are often very uncomfortable and timeable.
I had two real contractions the other weekend when I was napping on the couch. They were much lower than the BHs and felt menstrual cramp like rather than abdominal clenching-ish (if that makes sense). I drank water and walked around and didn't have anymore. Wondering if I'm going to be one of those lucky women that has a few weeks of prodomal labor before the real thing
