Yeah, so I read like 2 of them and then went to the bathroom. I freaked myself out thinking someone was in there with me and was gonna kill me. I skurried out hella quick. So thanks for that. lol
The Euthanasia Roller Coaster one was fascinating. I didn't find many of these particularly nightmare inducing. But this one is creepy in a peculiar way.
Idk why, but I'm also extremely fascinated with this one. Like, to the point where I got kind of mad that the wiki page for it was so "short" compared to other pages on the list.
#6 - There were two separate occasions when I thought I was dead.... didn't realize there was a name for that.
Ooh, interesting; care to share?
Both times I was in the hospital. The first time my doctor had put me on an anti-depressant called Prestiq which slowly caused a manic episode (I never had one before). I was working like crazy, hadn't slept much, had an accidental fall (unrelated) that landed me in the ER and when I got to the ER I thought I was dead. I don't know if it was the bright lights or what. But I kept asking people if I was dead. And I was alone so they put a security guard in the area I was in (and didn't tell me) and he kept watching me and I thought he was the devil. They let me call my mom and I told them that was the only way I would know I wasn't dead. (I also drank heavily the night before, not sure if that was part of it).
The second time was another anti-depressant induced manic episode. I ended up in the hospital for that and it was at night and a terrible thunderstorm. And I was walking the halls of the hospital thinking I was dead.

Sorry that happened to you, what terrifying experiences. I've heard of it on a tv show or something similar but never a first hand account.

Thanks... my brain can go into some crazy directions when I have these episodes. Fortunately I've only had three. The last one I never thought I was dead I just thought everyone was trying to kill me. That, and I thought I was being filmed for a movie. Crazy stuff.
I re-read the Wikipedia page more than once and I still can't quite figure out how all the people mentioned are tied together in the case. That was weird.
The Hintenfarkel (or whatever it was - I can't look it up at work, buzzfeed is blocked) murders were creepy as hell.

OMG yes. I read about that with goosebumps the whole time. The creepiest parts about that were 1. Each victim was lured to the barn separately 2. The dad saw footprints a few days before leading to the farm, but not away 3. The maid that left saying the place was haunted and 4. Whoever (whatever?) stayed after it was done and had a fire in the fireplace an made food in the kitchen.

The part about the youngest girl surviving for a little while because they found she'd pulled out tufts of her hair gave me chills in a major way, too.

Did you click in the external links? There is an animated rendering of it. It's ... weird. It is so interesting and ... scary? Scary isn't the right word. I'll stick with interesting. But parts of the animation made me nauseous, just to warn you.
