Quick Question - Job interview today

I have been asked to fill out a hand written application to bring to my interview today. It asks for a salary range. Should I leave it blank and wait for them to ask me in the interview or fill it in with a broad range since it was specifically asked?

I think you could put "negotiable" in that space, but I'd be prepared with a good answer in case it comes up in the interview.
