Every so often, I get the urge to attempt to learn how to style my hair. I just have too damn much! I was trying to do a "bubble bun", where you pull the bottom part of your hair through the top part of your bun. But I have too much hair I'm pull through, so it pulls apart the bun completely. Then I was trying to do a high bun where you take sections of hair and roll them downwards. It seems simple, but my hair is so straight, they just end up looking like these rolled sections and not "messy perfect" or whatever.
Oh, and after all these fruitless efforts, my arms hurt! Because even though I work out 5 days a week, I am still weak as fuck and can't hold up my own hair!

Your hair is thick and glorious and so beautiful. I know, I've seen it in person.
Have you ever tried a styling accessory to assist with making a bun? My favorite is this one. I still use a ponytail holder to anchor my hair because otherwise it'll droop and eventually fall apart (heavy straight hair here too). I also like spin pins, though I need two sets to keep my hair totally secure.

Wish I could take some of that off your hands (head? that sounds creepy). I have the opposite problem. My pony tail is like, a half an inch around. Maybe. On a good day. On the plus side, it takes absolutely no time to dry or curl/straighten, but I can't grow it or do any kind of style because I don't have enough hair. I can't even use those bun donut things because it shows through, lol.

I'll have to try this some time. I've never tried the sock bun because I figure the bun will be roughly the width of my head, LOL.

I'm in the same boat. My hair is so sad and fine and limp. :/

Yup. I spent 120 bucks on hair extensions for my wedding because I was going to have long, beautiful hair at least one day of my life, dammit.
