I'm 2-6 as well. Along with 1/3 of MM apparently. I can't believe 30% of the US doesn't drink at all. I wonder if you looked only at people under 50 if that would change.
I believe it. A lot of Muslims, Mormons, Baptists, Christians (as in ?Church of Christ), Pentecostals, etc, plus people in recovery, people with health issues, and people who just don't like it. That adds up to a lot of people.
I rarely drink at home. On vacation I will have 1-2xday.

I selected 0. I had two drinks at a concert in August and got so sick from it. That was the first time in 3 years that I had any alcohol, so it's not surprising I got sick. I won't touch it again. I don't like how I feel afterwards.
I'm in 6-15 most weeks. I probably occasionally drink more than that.
A typical week usually includes 2-3 days without drinking at all, 2-3 days of having 2 drinks, and 2-3 days of having 3-5 drinks. Occasionally I'll have even 6-7 drinks in a day but that's probably every month or two at most.
I don't feel that I have a "problem" with alcohol in that I'm totally fine on the days that I abstain, but I do think overall I should cut back. It can't be great for my health and I know it's made it harder to manage my weight.
I am a pretty big drinker and I really cannot imagine 74 in a week. There is a world of difference between 20 or 25 and 50, 60, 70+.
I agree. That's 10+ drinks a day, every day! I consider myself a fairly heavy drinker, but 10 drinks puts me in severe hangover territory. I doubt I even drink that much when I spend a week on vacation at an all-inclusive, where we typically always have a drink nearby.
I realize there are people who do that, but I definitely worry about them and hope they get some help
I voted for .63-2 on an average week. That said, there are definitely times when it is more the 2-6 range. I also have an alcoholic father, among many other family members, and try to be pretty careful about my consumption (slippery slope and all that, as @vicmo stated).
6-15. It's rare for me not to have a drink on any given evening but it's also rare for me to have more than two, even on weekends. I really enjoy wine and beer and love that gentle buzz you get with 1-2 drinks but more than that and I just get tired.
6-15 is a rather large range. I'd say around 5-10, so I picked 6-15, though 15 would be a stand out week for me. I try not to drink on weeknights, but I enjoy craft beer way too much, so I will often have 1-2 with dinner or after dinner on Friday night. Then we might go out to a restaurant or craft beer bar on Saturday and have 2. Then I can easily have 2-3 on Sunday while watching football, etc. Vacations or events like weddings can up my count, though.
I'm on medication where I can't drink right now, which might be good for my waistline.
ETA: It's almost always beer, occasionally mixed drinks (especially bourbon and scotch).
