I'm allergic to fall. I can't stop sneezing and my eyes are watering. I thought this only happened in spring? I've been trying to limit meds so I stopped taking Zyrtec a couple weeks ago. That's apparently not going to fly.
I should be doing dishes and getting our place back in order. I have the whole day to myself, but until all my TV is caught up I will just lay here and watch that haha!

wanderingenough I think I'm allergic too, I've been pretty miserable lately! Hope you feel better soon!
H and I didn't even get out of bed until like 10:30 this morning, haha. I was awake, just laying in bed on my tablet for a while. We got home somewhat late last night from game night so we were pretty tired! I needed that extra rest!
@-Once I finally get myself off this chair and ready to go we are going to go look for things to register for I'm excited! It will be nice to get some things narrowed down and on the list because apparently people are already asking my mom for ideas. My friend also said there are other friends inviting themselves to the shower she's throwing, haha. I really have the best friends and family!
I have to work tonight and I've gotten 3 hours of solid sleep with 1 hour of sort of dozing on top. Tonight should be interesting.
wanderingenough Ever since I moved back to Houston, I get allergies twice a year- spring and fall. I would take Zyrtec for a month or more. Allergy headaches are killer.

H is annoying me today with his inability to do anything on his own. I had to help with his workout, then help put the weights away, then help with his grandma's lawn, etc... All I want today is to be left alone. This could be all because my hormones are going crazy today.
My hospital had their NICU reunion today. I was only there for like an hour since it was kinda boring--for me, as someone with no kids and only occasional NICU nurse, so I didn't recognize very many of the parents. I did see some I recognized so that was fun. It's crazy to see all these kids that used to be these TEENY babies with oxygen and feeding tubes and now they're walking and stuff.
Also, it was a costume party which the organizer neglected to tell me about. Oh well, I repped my hospital March of Dimes shirt so no biggie.

Ours is coming up in about a month and I'm SO EXCITED!!!! I felt like our nuggets were little chunks by the time they left (read: 5-6 lbs) so I can't imagine how big they will all look now.
Are those of you who are allergic to fall looking at any temp drops this week? We are in the 60s today, and 70 tomorrow, but then by Friday we will have a high of 45 degrees.
I take allergy meds year round, in addition to allergy shots. If I don't take the meds I get headaches (from either actual allergies or during the winter from NOT by being used to having the meds).
I finished one of my three forms I need to do today. Halfway done with the second and third, just need to find the motivation to finish them.
Took a break to go to Menards. We have a weird door we need to determine what to do with, and the best option is looking at $500 + dollars to do. Blah.
I was finally able to relax a bit today, yay. I also went grocery shopping so I can get back to healthy eating this week, I've fallen off the wagon a bit the past few weeks. In related news, I bought a new scale today because my old one was giving different readings each time I stood on it. According to the new scale I'm 5 pounds higher than the highest reading on my old scale! Grr.

Warning - vent/complaining incoming:
Ugh, H and I just can't seem to get along lately. I've been crabby and tired and sick of my constant headaches so every little thing he does just bugs me. He's been snapping at me all day too. I think we're just stressing because we want to move to an actual house but saving for a down payment is seriously impossible. I started putting away more per paycheck and everything, but stuff keeps coming up to pay for and we pretty much have to use the savings. I just don't see how we can buy a house without a decent down payment and saving for that is going to be extremely difficult especially when we have to start paying for daycare and stuff. I think this stress plus not really being in the ideal situation in our apartment has really started to bother H as much as it's been bothering me lately. I'm just feeling overwhelmed and not happy with life in general right now. I don't know if it's just my depression/anxiety creeping up, if it's just the stress, or if there's a real problem here that needs to be addressed. I don't know what to do anymore
Just had to get that out.. having a rough time right now. I don't really need advice, maybe just some hair pats?

We're looking at a temp drop to 74 degrees. Brr lol.
I have allergies year round--dust mites are my most severe allergy. It maybe gets slightly worse in spring and fall. I take Allegra or zyrtec as needed, although I have some emergency claritin in my locker at work.
We worked at the new house for 8 hours, I went to Walmart, came home and made dinner, and made 2 desserts!! Oh goodness. Now I am sore and full. I cleaned house for an hour before we went to the new house too. I'm already planning an easy day for tomorrow.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the hugs and hair pats! I'm feeling a little better now. I just wish things were easier sometimes. We just need to crack down on our spending even more than we have in the past. I need to work out an actual budget and learn how we can stick to it so we can cut out as much unnecessary spending as possible. A mortgage isn't the problem, it's just all those initial costs I know you can get loans some places where you don't need much for a down payment, but I'd rather have as much as possible. I think we need to go in somewhere or something to see what we can realistically afford and what kind of down payment we need to be shooting for at minimum. We also need to figure out what the penalty is for getting out of our lease before it's up in Sept because I really want to move before then. I think I'm just antsy to get the ball rolling but there isn't much we can do right at this moment. We can't just up and buy a house next week or something. Any home buying advice let me know, haha.
@estrellita have you considered renting a house until you're ready to buy? We are doing that now and I love it. The comforts of home ownership without the maintenance! I do really wish we could buy and have no idea how we're going to save for a downpayment (and afford to keep up with the house we already own and rent out because it's underwater and too far from H's work!), but it's nice to be in a house even if it isn't mine.
