My hip/butt is hurting more than it ever has due to sciatic nerve pain, to the point that there are moments where I am actually grimacing aloud from the pain. Laying, standing, sitting, stretching...none of it is making a difference. And I get to go sit on a hard chair for the next 3 hours. I pray I can zone out the pain for 3 hours today, and 5 hours tomorrow. Come on body, please, please work with me here!
oy glitzyglow i've been there so i know how bad it hurts. the only thing that worked for me was chiropractic and yoga. hope you can get some relief!
my temporary roomate has been here every day this week and i feel like when she's here, i can't do my normal routine. today is the last day this week she's here and i feel like a weight will be lifted. (which makes me feel bad, because i like her and she's my friend!)
i'm hoping to see my crush tomorrow. it's what's getting me through this week.
DS woke up and asked me what day it was. I told him it was Wednesday to which he replied "oh good, I'm going to wear my hump day shirt." Yes, folks, my 10 year old has a hump day shirt!
My mom and I had take out and wine last night to celebrate my divorce being final. I am still so happy it is over that I have been telling everyone.
I decided last night that I am for sure selling my house. I have a few things to repair but I think I can have it on the market in a few weeks. It might be a pain finding a rental but it feels good to have finally just made a decision.
Going to dinner and a basketball game with my mom tonight which should be fun!

AF came to visit me this morning. HOORAY!
Our kickball team won our 4th Championship last night! I am glad we won, and not because it was the Championship game, but because the other team was RUDE and not fun to play against. Another team stuck around to cheer for us because they did not like the team we were playing. When the game ended, we were all in a line, shaking hands, and saying "good game," the pitcher on the other team kept saying "that's funny" to all of us and the first baseman refused to shake FI's hand! Really? It's a social kickball league where we drink more than we actually play kickball. Come on, people! I love playing, but it is super lame when you play against people with piss poor attitudes.

I took DD to Disney on Ice last night and I am really tired. I have the royal event thing today and I don't feel like looking decent. I wish I could take a nap so I could at least pretend that I am excited.

Another random, I bought my Halloween candy yesterday. I spent like $40 at Costco and got 30 full sized chocolate bars (Kit Kat, Reeses', Hershey and Hershey with almonds)and 60 full sized bags of skittles (assorted) and starbursts. I like the excitement when they see the big candy bars and I usually let them take a couple because I don't have that many ToT's.

My kids LOVE the people that give out big candy bars! You're the best!
I've been pretty physically ill for the past several weeks (past month really) and I seem to hopefully be turning the corner and starting to feel better. At least I hope!
I'm excited for Halloween. DS is going to be Olaf and will be so stinkin cute!
I'm obsessed with jason Aldean's "Burnin' it Down". Such a hot song!
I was contacted by a development bootcamp to write some articles on syndicated websites for them which is really freaking exciting! I have a legit side hustle and will be getting my name more "out there" for writing than I ever though I could
I have teenager level cramps today :/ I don't know where these are coming from, I've had trouble free periods for like 4 years now! I just want my bed and a big bag of candy. Instead, I'm headed into a two hour meeting. YAY.
@stpete - some of my most favorite memories as a kid were hanging out in my "fort", which consisted of 3 walls and a roof made out of plywood.
My main hope is that she realizes how lucky she is. I had nothing like it as a kid. My brother is going to get a small Ac unit and I'll be checking craigslist for a mini fridge for Christmas. I'm going to want to hang here once it's complete.
That is AWESOME. She's going to love it. I had a playhouse as a kid that was all plywood (no paint or fun furniture) and I slept in it, I loved it so much.
@stpete I'm pretty sure that place is nicer than my apartment. I'm having a fancy steak dinner with my dad and some friends tonight. I'm super excited. Also tomorrow is my Friday! Work seems to have calmed down a bit thank god.
I am excited for next week (no work!) but I am also a little anxious...I don't know how it will be to see N again. But I will also be seeing some gals I went through FA training with, and most likely @stpete at Universal Studios (and anyone else who wants to join!)
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."
