My confession: I hope my son's football team loses tonight. The coach is awful and has told a group of 9 year old boys that he is only playing his best 11 kids for the whole game. When the kids were like "Whyyyy?" He said "because don't you want to win" wtg coach. way to build up the kids. so if they lose a.) the season is over and b.) I can tell off the coach.
We have had some pretty shitty coaches thus far and I am so over it. Youth sports shouldn't be like this
Well he's fucking stupid then. If the same 11 kids play offense and defense for the whole game they will burn out by the 3rd quarter and be completely useless.
I hate coaches like this. If my kid was in a league without mandatory playing time requirements we wouldn't have played for 3 years. And they wouldn't have gotten thousands of dollars from us.
And guess what.. that is exactly what happened and we lost. And every boy on that team was devastated. Those poor 11 kids who played the entire game and were exhausted and had so much put on their little shoulders. I am glad the season is over
I want kids (I think?) but reading posts here really scares me. I don't think I'm going to be a good mom.
You might surprise yourself. I have never, ever been a little-kid kind of person. It turns out I just hate everybody else's children. My own are totally copacetic.
lol
Good to know I'm not the only one. I have always felt like a bad person/guilty because I'm not as interactive with my younger cousins/nieces & nephews as other people are.
