I guarantee this will not be 10 pages, LOL.
I am spent. H had to go to a "one hour" meeting in m'fing Pittsburgh today and it ran 4 hours. He's still not home, so I had to do the evening stuff on my own. Instead of walking the dogs, I put DD in front of Shrek and let the dogs roam the (not quite fenced) backyard while I stood out there with them.
As soon as she saw me touch her bedtime books, she screamed "No books mummy!! Daddy!!" She hates me reading to her, apparently

DH had to get up at 4:30 today. He understandably fell asleep on the couch while we were hanging out in the basement. DD decided he needed a bear and a cup of water.
ETA: I especially liked that she didn't give him her special bear. She just found some random one for him.
DD is sick with the stomach flu while MIL is watching her and I feel just terrible for her . She's been sleeping and throwing up all day and MIL is just doing her best to keep her hydrated. I wish I could reach through FaceTime, it is killing me not to be there to take care of my little girl. Gah.
And all three kids are sharing a room and everything else so I'm having flashbacks to last Christmas when we all went down with the stomach flu. I can't wait to be home and I don't want to go home all at the same time.
Rikki posted about a fight she and her H were having. She then later referred to "you can guess what it's about" and everyone figured it out. Bliss wouldn't quit posting about it after she said PDQ. Whole thread went poof.
(I can make this poof. Don't ban me. My H is gone a lot. I need friends. LOL)
I have a hair appt on Friday, and I am considering making a drastic change. I have naturally curly hair that's past my shoulders. I never ever wear it down, it is always in a pony tail or messy bun. So I am really thinking of going with an inverted bob, with it a bit longer in front. I have a picture I will take with me and will ask to make sure she can do it, but I am still pretty damn nervous. I don't want the end up looking like a mushroom or something. Never had my hair shorter than shoulder length.
I tried making spanakopita for dinner, because we had a ton of spinach from our CSA to use.
Except then my dill was all dead. And the recipe said phyllo dough or puff pastry. I thought "I am going to be authentic and buy phyllo dough". Except I am not 100% sure I understand the quantities of phyllo dough, and H was gone, and DD was throwing chocolate chips into every measuring bowl I own.
So, the crust is a little skimpy. The filling tastes good at least!
ps, if someone knows how to use/measure phyllo dough, please tell me. The recipe said 2 sheets, which if I were using puff pastry I'd read to be 2 rolls? I just kind of layered it in there until it looked good-ish.

I have this hair and did this exact thing a few weeks ago. I'm still getting used to it but I have no regrets so far. It takes so little time to wash it now, it's great.
H and I were talking tonight and somehow the words "vagina" and "penis" were uttered. DS laughed his head off at them. So we kept saying them so he would laugh.
AJ was actually snuggly for a few minutes after we finished reading books tonight...I was shocked. And thrilled. I miss snuggles.
Now I'm trying to decide if he should get his flu shot tomorrow. He's still got a runny nose, and is still coughing some so I don't know. He was originally supposed to get it last month, and ended up at the pedi for HFM and a sinus infection less than a week before that appt and the pedi said as long as he was fever free he could get the shot (I ended up cancelling THAT appt because he was finally feeling better and I wanted to enjoy the day). J's off all day tomorrow so it's technically his call but I'm not telling him that
We got out mini session pics. I look like a whale. I though my dress was flattering.
Don't be too hard on yourself. I thought I looked super heavy in our pictures (and I am only expanding!), but when I gave it a little time, I realized it's not so bad. We're our own worst critics. I'm sure you looked nice!
DD would only eat green beans for dinner tonight. Normally she devours the protein and carb options and we have to bribe her to taste veggies, but she was absolutely obsessed tonight. Who is this kid?

The weather is supposed to be awful on Halloween: cold, windy, rainy, and possible flurries (um, I thought I lived in the South?). I can handle the cold and flurries, but I'm not dragging two kids out in cold rain to TOT. I'm hoping it breaks at least long enough to go to a few houses. Otherwise, I am going to have a very unhappy 3-year-old hula girl.
We need two new vehicles and can't really afford them. I hate being an adult.
Being an adult seemed like a lot more fun before I was an adult.
I remember seeing my parents' tax return laying on their table at one point when I was in college and thinking "holy shit, what do they do with all that money?" Hahahahahahahahahah. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Now I know.
I don't know how we can make the money we do (because we don't make so little we should complain) and still have to worry about making ends meet.
Not having a car payment in like 3 years has spoiled us. Having to have two at once is going to suck.

I cropped the pic for our holiday cards at least!
I need to do something, but every time I try after a month I haven't lost anything.
I have to clean bathrooms tonight. But I thinking going to go to bed instead. The great FB friending kept me up far too late last night. I am sooo tired today.
I'm sad I missed all the Facebook friending last night. It was a good thing I decided to go to bed on time though as DD was up throughout the night from teething (I think).
Disney Vacation Club. Similar to a time share. Hopefully my husband stops me. I just think well I could just pay all that money now and never worry about it again (beyond dues which are not cheap) but then I am like wait... what about tickets and food. Disney is not cheap!

Can you please send me your inspiration picture? I've had an inverted bob before and loved it. I'd love to get it cut that way again! It's so blah now.

This is my first random post from my phone. The bad gift post from several days ago made me laugh so hard i woke Ds who was asleep on me. Ds doesnt sleep much so i loved and hated you all equally that evening. What a way to introduce myself, eh?
I get frustrated by all the abbreviations because i lived under a child free rock prior to DS's arrival. Like literally....he arrived 12 days early and i had planned on reading all the baby stuff the weekend before his due date. I am and will be forever feeling unprepared and inadequate.
