Does anyone have one? DH seems interested in one but they are expensive so I'm hesitant to spend the $ without hearing personal experiences. If you have one, do you like it? Does it use regular coffee or special pods like a kuerig?
My parents have one and LOVE it. Personally, it would not be for me though - for the life of me I have no clue how to work it when I go over there; my mom always makes me a cup. The downside, to me, is that it uses it's own special pods (no clue if it has like, a refillable one or anything), and I think they're kind of pricey. I mean, it tastes fine, but I just don't get it that it brews espresso and not actual coffee? I have no clue.
BUT, this is coming from someone who still uses a 4-cup Mr. Coffee from like, 10 years ago...
It uses special pods. My inlaws have one and they have the milk frother attachment piece. My mil makes a mean cappuccino with that thing. They are big espresso drinkers so they use it a lot. They also have a keurig for regular cups of coffee. If you think you would use it a lot go for it! I personally don't have one bc I prefer not to use pods so I have a capresso brand espresso machine.. But they are really happy. Also the pods do make for easier clean up. I'm always stuck cleaning out grinds..
I have one and I love it. I love how easy it is to clean - it makes no mess which is so awesome for an espresso machine. The frothed milk is amazing and I use almond milk for me and regular for DH. Once you sample a few different kinds you should fine a blend you love. I got mine about a year ago and it's paid for itself by now. I got a great deal holiday from sur la table and $75 credit for pods when I bought mine.
Edit: it only uses nespresso so no other brand pods like keurig and you can't make hot chocolate or tea which I think with keurig you can? If there is a nespresso boutique near you I would go there and have them sell you on it.
Also, our local costco has them right now for a great price so I'm thinking about getting a second one for our other place.

I'll see if I can find a place where I can sample it or have at least see how it works. We do like espresso a lot in this house but I like my little crappy stove top one lol. But the fact that this makes cappuccino is kinda neat.
