In the theme of clothes, I think most girls boutique clothes are ugly. These poor girls look like homeless clowns with all those freaking ruffles.
Kate I agree about the ties but I also feel like it's hard to find nice clothes for little boys. I feel like the options are limited to sweater khaki pants. Polo khaki pants. Etc.
Also this has been floating around my Facebook. I feel all the sorries for people who live like this and also these kinds of messages are why most people who lose weight go on to put it back on within 18 months.

Honest question--did you keep the weight off long term? I feel like those calorie counter type diets don't teach people how to eat healthy but rather just cut calories. And that's great if you are obese to the point where it's negatively impacting health but it does nada for teaching people how to eat nutrient rich which will lead to more long term weight loss/better overall health/more satisfied vs struggling to keep calories low.
I think we all know that I feel differently than like 95% of the world when it comes to clothes. But I hate little man clothes. I don't understand ties on babies and toddlers. Why is this a thing? Also, the tutu for cake smash thing? No. Why?
I also do get the whole obsession with the "My First XXX" holiday clothing. Some people on my old BMB were so bummed that they couldn't find a My First Halloween outfit to fit their almost 1 year old. Waste of money!
We are pretty much polar opposites on this. I hate "baby clothes." Bubble rompers, Peter Pan collars, pastel blue overalls, impractical light-colored embroidered clothing. No thank you. I'll take Carter's jeggings over that any day of the week. Also, onesies? Onesies can go to hell. I don't want an outfit that makes it impossible for me to look in a diaper.
But I am with you on the "my first ________" outfits. DH's aunt sent the twins Thanksgiving-themed onesie-and-pants outfits last year. Thoughtful, but no, I am dressing them in something dressy and adorable for the holiday so the family can see them looking cute and then just sticking them in these before bed for a picture.

WW takes height, age, weight, bf or not and gender into account when you are figuring out how many daily points you get, plus everyone gets 35 points to use anyway you see fit for the entire week, and exercise gets you extra points as well.

With the old plan at least you count the Tl cals, Fat, and Fiber and that gives you the point value of that food, then you just subtract those points from your daily points, it's along the same concept as MFP. The thing I don't care for with the new plan is that I felt that I wasn't eating more points than food. If that makes sense. I was always hungry on the new plan which never happened on the old plan.

WW is crap because you can eat a shit ton of sugar and it barely affects your points. Have some nuts or an avocado and you have blown half your day. They focus on removing fats- all fats- even the ones you need, but don't care about sugars.

Tracking macros really isn't a diet per se. It's more of a method of ensuring that you are taking in the correct amounts of the big 3 areas of your diet- protein, fats, and carbs.
WW takes those three things and assigns a point value to each food. It's fine if you are watching things, but it's very easy to go carb heavy and completely miss your protein and fat requirement. Actually if you are doing WW you will miss your fat requirement or you will blow your points every day.

I promise calorie counting isn't that bad. It really is calories in v calories out. Eat whatever you want as long as it's with your budget. It doesn't take long to figure out that some foods make you feel better or give a better bang for the buck. I get that it isn't for everyone though.

C's grandma made these suspenders to match this outfit she bought him. Kind of odd maybe, but they're cute and he doesn't mind them. I've only ever put them on him once. Bow ties are totally his thing, with plaid collared shirts. So adorable and they don't bother him at all.

No. Quality matters- big time. So does getting the proper portions of your macros
If I eat 1200 in pure processed carbs daily I won't lose a damn thing except my mind. I had been trying to stay around 1200-1500 daily. In January I jumped up to 2300-2500. Gained 5 lbs almost immediately and it has stayed the same since (and my lifting has been awesome since then). If you do that math, I should have been gaining 8-10 lbs/month.
