My kid has the worst birthday luck.

Got home from dinner, said she was too tired to finish her cake and then got sick as she was about to use the bathroom and brush her teeth. Two years ago she was sick with something else and was not able to go to school and now she will be missing out on the Halloween parade tomorrow and most likely trick-or-treating. Poor thing

I am hoping this is more about something not sitting right with her vs. a bug, but I am disinfecting just in case. Please, don't let anyone else get sick.

We think it might be bad ground beef now. Both H and Char got sick within hours of eating out and both meals had ground beef in it. . Still being cautious, but man this stinks.

DS1 had strep on his bday this year. I felt so bad b/c bdays are such a big deal to kids! We re-celebrated a week later, when he could eat all his favorite foods for dinner.

I hope so.  I think it has to be food the way it hit both of them within an hour or so of each other.

Yes.  She spit up a couple more times, but that might be because she swallowed some water at one point. She just had a pedialite pop and is doing ok. H is better too, though not 100%. I want both of them to get lots of rest today and let their stomachs heal.

Both are on the mend and currently playing with legos downstairs while I get some rest. I will be calling the restaurant today to alert them, it's a shame because we have never had an issue there before.
