What, is everyone so busy hugging it out that nobody remembered to post it?
I have some true randoms.
DD decided to ask and deliberately pee in the potty tonight so YAY, finally.
DD stripped off all her clothes (but not her diaper, TG) last night and slept naked. I'm wondering if she did it again tonight but don't feel like going to check the monitor right now.
Question: I saw people said once when they pump at work they put pump parts in ziplock bag. Do you not rinse them or anything? I started doing this at home for overnight pumpings. I rinsed the bottles after I poured milk into freezer bags and then put everything in fridge. Want to make sure I'm doing it right.

I rinse them and then put them in a bag. I steam clean them every other day or so in one of those microwave steam bags.

No need to rinse but I did since I was pumping at home, too, and could. I'd wash them once a day, though.
I used to wipe down the pump parts with a clean paper towel before putting them in the fridge. I had a billion bottles so I usually didn't reuse those. (Gerber bottles fit the Medela pumps, MMM solution to more bottles.)
DD has done that thing we don't talk about 3 nights in a row now... No sleep training or anything here, I think she just finally gained enough weight and started eating enough in the day time so she didn't have to wake up at night. This phenomenon coincided with when she started eating 3 puree meals and two snacks a day. Prior to the snacks there was always an MOTN.
But she took only 1 nap today, under 1.5 hrs, and fought bed time so hard. You'd think she would've passed out earlier since she skipped the second nap. Nope. She also refused her lunch and dinner purees today. Tomorrow is going to be FUN.
teatimefor2, I also love uninterrupted, quiet time snuggles with the baby, any time of day or night. It helps that he is pretty chill and just nestles into me easily.
My husband drove all the way to work and realized he forgot his clothes (he was planning on going to the gym first, so he was wearing shorts). He came home and he and A scooted to school together. Not having to drop her off at 8 makes my morning so calm.
Mid-day tomorrow, I'm going to regret getting home at 11pm , but dinner tonight with LA MLers was a blast! 1. Food was awesome 2. @carmensandiego, we realized that you need to meet littleduck. She's an ATL transplant on the Westside too. 3. Hello Kitty Convention aka we may or may not have vandalized HK in front of the PoPo and hotel staff. 4. He sat behind me at the restaurant. I (heart) Veep, so I was a bit star struck.
Yeah, I would love to meet another ATL transplant! Keep me in the loop for the next GTG for sure!
DS is walking!!!!! Well, just a few steps but YAY! He's been a little delayed on gross motor so so excited that he got it in just under 14 months. Whew
And, on the job front, I updated my resume yesterday and had a call from a headhunter this afternoon. Bragplaint: I was kind of hoping to have a few months off to have maternity leave do over but $$$ is a better option.
