If everything is properly documented and your story verifiable (or even if it's a he-said/she-said and you are simply more believable) then you should be okay. The worst part is not knowing and expecting/bracing for the worst case scenario. Hang in there until it's time to truly worry. I think if he's been papered toward termination, you should be fine.

Good luck. Don't jump to the conclusion you are being terminated. Look at how hard of a time they have had firing him, they won't just terminate you at the first hint of an accusation.

This is a good point to remember. Also, this really could just be a formality type thing where they have to talk to you about this because it was a formal complaint, even though they know it's bullshit.
Thanjs for the kind words. I was offered a promotion a while back that hss been put on the back burner and it kills me because this probably has ruined that. Either way I will hold my head up high and continue on. He wont win. I guarantee that!

I am so sorry you have to deal with this. At a previous job, I had this BSC guy try to pull the same thing with me. He said I called him a "fucking f****t", which obviously I would never say (or even think). When he later told HR that I had had "people arrested without any witnesses" it kind of proved my point that this guy was effing nuts, as I wasn't having people arrested and sent off to Guantanamo in secret. It took forever to fire him, and it was awful to go through.

I had a similar situation when I first became a manager. She accused me of discriminating against her due to age, I assume because I was her manager and was much younger than her. I can only assume this because during my meeting with her and the agency EEOE rep, she never mentioned her age or any other discriminatory thing, other than she thought a decision I made was unfair because she didn't get to do what she wanted and she was upset.
I hate it because I had to sit there and listen to her make a list of complaints and personal criticisms against me, saying I was unfriendly, unapproachable and intimidating. Nothing came of it, but I had to continue to work with her after that. I was careful not to do anything or say anything about it later, because I didn't want to be accused of retaliation.
I am so glad that I no longer work for that agency, as I believe many things there were mishandled, with this EEOE complaint being one of them.
