I'm sitting in bed drinking coffee.
DD was up at 3:45 & 5. I just got her back down. She just sat in my bed and yelled.
I think I need to pick up some formula to supplement with- she seems hungrier lately & I'm not sure my bewbs can keep up with her. I've started working out a lot more & I think it's effecting my supply.
The problem is that she won't drink out of a bottle.. Formula from a sippy? Mmmm, sounds delightful. I'll try.
What kind of formula should I get? I think she has outgrown her milk/beef intolerance (I've been having dairy and a few hamburgers & she's been fine).
Yesterday was terrible. I fear today will be much of the same.
Awww. That sounds miserable for both of you! If you're comfortable with it try formula. How old is she? Could you go right for WCM or whatever you would use in the event of an allergy?
I got up early to finish DH's Kristoff tunic for ToTing tonight. I'm exhausted and resentful that he's been a lazy asshole lately who seems to have forgotten that were supposed to be doing this whole marriage/parenting thing together. He's stressed about stuff at work right now and I get that. But we have three kids, both of us work full time and we have no family here to help. I can't do everything alone anymore.
Coffee? DS just finished feeding and I'm going back to sleep, even if it's just for an hour or so. We have to wAke DD for school at 7:30.
Yes. Coffee. DH made coffee before he left work so he made me a cup. I try to get up around 530 so I can get some work done before DD is up for the day.
I WFH & most of the time my most productive time is before she is up.
I had a horribly violent nightmare at 3 am, and that kept me up for the next 1.5 hours. Now I'm up so I can get ready for work, and I'm exhausted. At least I've got a short day at work. I need to come home and finish DD's costume.
I wish I had coffee! We are out. DD was up an hour ago and I was so happy when I got her back down, thinking I could go back to sleep for a couple if hours too but it ain't happening.
I have had a cup of coffee and a shower, but both kids are in my bed and looked warm and cozy, so I climbed back in. We have 45 minutes to be at school. I should probably get up.
There is someone on my FB feed who is just flying her nutter flag left and right. I'm not sure how widespread the story is, but a two state troopers were ambushed outside their barracks about an hour north of us a month or so ago and there has been a giant manhunt for the shooter ever since. He was taken into custody yesterday. Nutter is now proclaiming with CAPITAL LETTERS and !!!!!!! and lots of ellipses that the entire story is fabricated, there never was a shooting, and the whole thing was just a cover to detract attention from President Obama over the past month.
Go home.
I'm beginning to feel like I may want to wean N. He'll be 13m shortly and lately he goes completely berserk when my boobs are remotely accessible and I'm kind of over it, but I feel conflicted.
Dd is acting sick but won't let me take her temp in her mouth. We got rid of our temportal forehead one because we thought she was old enough for a mouth one. She feels warm and I have no clue if she has a fever.
M's fever came back last night and I'm afraid they are going to call me to pick her up again, so I'm getting work done in case. I would be a little sad because her outfit for today is so cute lol.
All the dramaz happens after I go to bed. How do I start staying up past 845 at night?!
At 5:52 I'm pretty sure I was lying in bed silently raging that I had finally sufficiently kicked dh to get him to roll over and stop snoring and then the baby started grunting.
I can't wait for Halloween evening (that's technically grammatically redundant yes?). Ds1 went to daycare as Son Goku and I got a picture of him doing the Kamehameha move. Tonight he switches to pirate, ARRRRR
We used Gerber Gentle when we supplemented. Our pediatrician said Gerber is sweeter like breast milk.
:Y: I'm going to pick some up today. I had similac supplement in the pre-made bottles from when she had jaundice; so I tried that. LOL. She just looked at me like, "No Mom, No." I mixed it in w/ her oatmeal, and she was fine, but she wasn't drinking it.
Made it to the mainland just after 6am. Today is going to be an exceptionally long day. Six hour time change going east, a two hour drive home after a 9 hour flight, 3 hour layover, and 2 hour flight, ToT if the kids are okay and a college football game. I might die.
DD woke up feeling "completely recovered". I have my doubts after face time, by she was eating an eggo and asking to take a bath so I'm relieved.
We are going to H's office in a little while to show off DD's costume. She is currently watching Shrek for like the billionth time ever. Fortunately we own all four so we can rotate.

Regular old 530 wakeup for us. I brought DS into the bathroom in his highchair so I could get ready without Toddler Tornado tearing up the house. My bathroom is tiny, it was not helpful.
The best pic I got of him in his Halloween gear is just a blur of orange.
Fuuuuuuuuck. Tricks on me today, apparently. Got to daycare, dropped C off, got back in car, car wouldn't start. It's 27 degrees outside; I was only wearing a light jacket. Daycare lady's neighbor tried to jump the car for me, but it didn't work (maybe it's the starter or alternator? Who the hell knows?) Thankfully, her daughter was there and was able to drive me two miles to H's work, so I could take his truck back home to work.
This is exactly what I needed on Halloween. Except not.

Could you try more solids? Around this age DD started to prefer food to BF or bottles. If not, maybe soy? DD is mspi and I can eat dairy and soy, but she can't tolerate it directly yet.
DH went hunting and I didn't fall asleep until after 2:30am. And, I didn't stop for coffee because I was running so late this morning.
Also, I am probably a huge dork, but I glued neon rubber insects to my tights today. My coworkers may think I'm silly, but it made my kid laugh, so that's all that's important, right?!
