I just told her to fuck off. I can't take that insufferable butch anymore. I'm sure I'll be banned by the time I get home from work tonight and I give no shits.
Bat shit fucking crazy. Between her, enchanted and the girl who wants to HS her 3.5 year old because BOTH she and her husband stay home the whole board is an asylum. Congrats bump you got rid of us and opened the gates.
I cannot fathom how wifemom fails to see that her views are not the only way the bible can be interpreted. Every time this comes up she always decides the stories people share must be from churches that aren't "biblical."
One year before we had kids, my ILs gave us season passes for Disneyland and California Adventure. I mean it was free (minus gas to get there), and we lived like 1.5 hours away so we went, because why not.

Apparently MM isn't out to get me. I got a warning and had my post edited but that's it. It's so fucking clear that she was out to get some people and not others. I may have fun with this.

This. I responded to her pretty nicely. I wonder how she will reply. Probably sanctimoniously.
If you don't enjoy Disney as an adult without kids, you're doing it wrong.
We LOVE Disney...with and without kids. I surely enjoy other vacations too...but Disney is "home" for us. It's magical and fun and we know it so well so it takes a lot of the risk and unknowns out that can sometimes be stressful on a vacation, if that makes sense.

Respectfully disagree. I get that some people feel magic there. I feel magic when I see a canyon or art or try new food. I feel exhausted at amusement parks.

Nope I just spent a week there. The last thing I want on a vacation with just my husband is to be surrounded by other people's kids. How in the world is that fun?

I've never been to Disney. If we have the money while our kids are young enough we'll consider it (it will still be many years before we have funds to travel at all) but as someone who loathes amusement parks I can't imagine going there except for the kids. When H and I go on vacation just is it's exploring a new city and going to museums and great restaurants.

DH and I haven't gone by ourselves since having kids, but we did once before we did.
I just tube other people's kids out -- still do to be honest. It's why IDGAF if a kid has an iPad in a restaurant or whatever -- I just tune them out . I mean, I go to the beach with just my husbands, and there are rugrats all over the place there.
Special snowflake - I've done disney before kids and had a blast. It's also awesome with kids. It's also not just an amusement park. But I like traveling almost anywhere - I get just as excited about disney as I do about Paris or London or California.
Would I ONLY want to visit disney as my vacations forever? Nope, but I can still visit other places & Disney.
