I've had this stroller for a few mths & I hate it. I don't use it all that often, so it's not like it's getting work out.
It's so difficult to push. It feels like the wheels are always locked or have some kind of tension against them. I feel like I have to put some effort into pushing it. It's more difficult than my Bob & Uppa baby vista.
Anyone have this stroller? Similar issues? I bought it from bbb. I don't have the receipt or the box- I do have the registration card on my fridge.. So, I should probably send that in.
I pushed my friends g-Luxe & there was a noticeable difference in ease of pushing. I know the gluxe is more $$$, probably better quality, but this wasn't a cheap stroller ($189).
We have a G-Light and I wish we'd gotten the Luxe (we picked weight over features - read: recline). A friend just posted a screenshot of the Luxe on sale for like $150 on posh baby, er something like that, one of those deal sites. I'd buy and sell your Joovy on CL!

Oh, good idea. I just emailed BBB & Joovy. I bought the stroller on 9/2.
I don't know if I can convince my H to go for the g-luxe with a $250 price tag.. But, I would not buy the g-lite, bc $150 is bananas for a stroller that doesn't recline. It was one of my first choices, but when I found out it didn't recline, I changed my mind quickly.

Yes, this is the deal on the Luxe that I was talking about! I really regret our Lite purchase, although the few pounds less in weight did help when we were traipsing through Europe with it.

Go back to BBB and explain why you are dissatisfied and see what they can do. Obviously you don't save receipts/boxes for things after you start using them, because they're not supposed to be crap. Maybe they can look you up in the computer or something.
BBB let us return a baby monitor we had been using for six weeks with no receipt and no box and gave us a full refund because the monitor was an expensive piece of crap. So it's worth going in and asking.
Or maybe there is something actually wrong with your stroller and they can replace it with a new one with wheels that work? If the wheels worked, would you want to keep it?
BBB emailed me back and said there is nothing they can do w/o the box.. It's a 2hr drive to the nearest store, so it's not like I can just drop by. If it handled better I would keep it. I'll see what Joovy says, but it will probably be more of the same.
I checked CL.. The only problem w/ CL, is that I doubt I can get anywhere near what I paid - which, it's used, so fine.. and, I hate to sell something that is possibly defective.

Wait, there is nothing they can do with a DEFECTIVE STROLLER unless you have the box? No. Talk to a manager. Resistance in the wheels is not normal. People do not keep boxes for everything (especially LARGE things) JUST IN CASE a few weeks into use the product becomes defective.

That is what the generic email they sent back said. Whats more annoying is that we JUST threw the box out about a week ago.
I need MH to wake up so I can discuss this with him. Ha. I'm so impatient sometimes. I need answers NOW.

I'd also try making a trip to the store - we returned a diaper sprayer we'd been using for like 6 months when a piece inside cracked and prevented the spray. We had no box or receipt and had paid with a gift card and they still exchanged for a new one. They also mentioned to H that they could try looking it up if we had used our credit card.
