I have asthma, so anything below 20* makes it hard for me to breathe. I have done runs in the teens, but can't really do long runs in those kinds of temps.

Below zero is usually where I draw the line. Wind and ice are big factors as well. For me it's about the right clothes. Hoping this winter isn't as bad as last years!
I run outside voluntarily down to about 20*, maybe 15*. But I'm always in off season in the winter, so I don't have much pushing me to be tougher than that.
We had a cold (for us) winter in MD last year and I was okay to about 15 or so. I absolutely said no to single digits. It is pretty rare here, so I see no reason to torture myself. the biggest problem for me training through last winter was school and gym daycare being closed so often. Treadmill runs with 3 kids underfoot are always interesting.
Around 10 is where I draw the line. I am a wimp when it comes to windchill, so if it's windy and below 20 degrees I usually stay in on the treadmill.
For 20* I would do regular tights or fleece lined (I have some from Athleta that are great), long sleeve compression and another thicker long sleeve jacket. Gloves, hat, and neck warmer.

Really it's more road conditions than anything. If it's icy then I go on the treadmill. Then again last year I was only working my way up to 6 miles so it was only for an hour or a little bit over.

I'll run outside in pretty much anything. I tend to sign up for spring half marathons, which push me out the door from late-December on; if it wasn't for training, I'd have much less motivation to get out there for a long run when it's in the teens.
In the 20s, I'd be in tights with either a heavier long sleeve shirt or a tank top on under a half zip top.
Probably below 10, but it doesn't get that cold here that often so I haven't tested it out. Ice at night is no bueno and derails more of my winter runs, than the cold does.
Below zero and ice is my line. I have a bunch of layering options and splurged on nicer fleece lined tights last year. The. Bigger pain for me is having to drive into town for a safer place to run with the snow and ice

This is my first cold weather running year so I am interested to see where my limits are. I did 5 miles in the rain and wind this morning and according to the weather app it felt like 35....if it wasn't raining it would of been awesome! I had on tights, a long sleeve tech shirt and a light vest and still felt too warm at times.
I will usually run outside until it's single digits. At that point, it just kills my lungs and is not fun anymore. I run a winter race series and I hate when race days are below 10.
