Last night we were going to a trunk or treat at a local church but it ended up being too cold/windy. It just wasn't worth it and the kids had a fun day already with buckets full of goodies. C had a bit of a meltdown on the way home. I think he was just exhausted. He didn't want a bath and stood the whole time and cried. His bedtime is normally around 8 but he didn't go to bed until 9:30. Poor guy was just so pitiful. Luckily mommy was able to sleep in this morning. I need to go to the grocery store and was thinking of checking Target or Hobby Lobby for Halloween discount stuff for next year. I would like some new decor.
May was hilarious at ToT. She would just walk right in the persons house and start shoveling candy into her pumpkin while I said "just one! Just one!" But she was so funny they would always let her take a ton. Then she'd say "happy ha ween!" In this suuuuper high pitched voice. Lol. She did good for only doing one street. One house gave her a Twinkie which she loved.

I am dreading the time change. Aiden has been up by 630 most mornings and 530 seems so early. We tried moving his bedtime back but he's just a fussy mess by bedtime then. And I'm at work today so it means an extra hour at work.
Ada had a blast yesterday dressing up and ToTing. She wouldn't go near houses that had ghosts or scary things on them lol. She also had candy and a pouch for dinner last night, oops. We had people over and somehow forgot to feed her real dinner. She slept from 8-7:30 so I guess she wasn't hungry.
My kids slept through the night. MY KIDS SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT. OMG. I'm so happy right now I could cry.
Also, my brother (who loves in my basement) informed me this morning that "you'd be surprised how well sound carries from the upstairs bedrooms into the basement"... Color me mortified.
H is working at a friends house up in sandj82110's neck of the woods today, so my wonderful mother came and got Owen this morning. They're going to a petting zoo and to get him winter boots. It's really nice to be home with just Violet. We've been lazing around all day.
Last night wore Noah out so he slept until 8:30! And tonight he is staying at my in laws so that I can take my H out for his birthday...I didn't think about the time change when we planned for Noah to sleep somewhere else....I can't decide if I am mean or a genius.

My H is in such a bad mood and keeps whining because he's soooooo tired. When A woke up at 530 I asked my H to take him downstairs and give him his medicine and wake me up at 6 to nurse him. He needs his medicine 30 minutes before his first feed. He grunted and dragged his feet but did it and right when he was about to go back to bed when I took over X woke up. So now he's in a bad mood and complaining because he's so tired. Cry me a fucking river DH and suck it up. At least he slept ALL night. I know he's tired and he's allowed to be but stop acting like a pouty 2 year old about it.
Why do I bother to clean the house with a toddler around? I cleaned everything up no more than 1 hour ago so that I could vacuum. It now looks like a tornado when through the family room leaving a trail of toys in it's wake.
I was going to buy tickets to surprise MH for the MN Viking football game tomorrow as it is likely the last nicer day to go (the next home game is right after Thanksgiving and I'm not sitting outside freezing my assets off - I don't care THAT much about football) But they are playing the Redskins and there is talk about there being huge protests (like upwards of 10000 people) due to the Redskins not changing their derogatory (sp?) name. I'm just not sure I want to deal with allll that to go to a game. However, MH is a diehard Vikings fan and really wants to go to a game.
A is already napping. He was soooo cranky this morning and had a meltdown in the car because he decided he wanted a morning bun instead of the lemon cake he asked for at Starbucks. He screamed the entire way home. I think I may join him in the nap.
BIL is watching the kids and DH and I are heading to Adam's parent teacher conference. I'm so curious as to what her feedback will be. Lol.
Oh, and our third fish has died. We officially have a fish tank of death poor A.
Have you had the water tested?
We will this weekend now that it's officially a death trap in there. Poor fish. We were not sure if it was a fluke or not, but dead fish number three is quite convincing.
Were at an indoor maze/play place bc it was raining earlier and too wet to go to the park. It's totally dads day or something bc there are so many here. All the moms must be at home or errands.
