Will this rug work in my living room? PIPs

[finally]

I want a new rug for the living room.  The current one is about 10 years old and I'm ready for something new.  I have since changed out the lampshade for an off-white one.

Here's the rig I really like and keep going back to over and over.  I am worried that with turquoise piping on the sofa and chair and matching curtains that the green described in the product description might not work together but it looks light enough in the picture that it may be ok.  I'm afraid to buy something that is almost $300 online and then not like it.  It's from Overstock.  Yay or nay?

I think it's okay, but I feel like your room can use something more bright and bold, with touches of the curtain color in there

I love the rug, and think that the green in the rug and the turquoise might complement each other nicely.

I really like the rug and think it will look nice but you might end up wanting to swap out the patterned pillows.

I like it. But I would prefer something with more color. There's an awful lot of tan in that room.

This is what I was thinking. Between the rug and the pillows that's a lot of circles. Maybe with new pillows you could introduce another color to the room too? (a blue and green pattern to tie the rug and the blues together?)
