I'm in a bad mood over the election results down here. Talk about disappointment, after I was so hopeful that a positive change was coming. Maybe it's time to move. Grrrrr.
I dreamed that lexxasaurus was going to Dallas for a wedding... Just saying, it's only a couple hours from me.
Don't worry, if I ever make it back to Texas I will do my rounds to see all the Texas girls! If you come to Colorado again, you should probably come a little closer to me.
I wore my dental appliance to help with sleep for the first time last night. It was awkward, & I think it will take some getting used to, but I woke up an hour late so it must have helped my sleep somewhat! Lol
I ordered a microwave last night after living 9 months without one. What pushed me over the edge, you ask? Not being able to heat up my coffee in the morning (and heating up the leftover mac & cheese from the weekend was a bitch, too).
The company we rent from is doing wine & cheese around 4:30 today, yay! And the guy who buys everything got me Sauv Blanc since the last couple times all the whites were sweet.

I'm all alone in the firehouse waiting for them to come back from a call. I was told to make myself at home. If this was a movie there'd be a montage of me doing things like sliding down the poll and wearing a fireman's helmet.

I found an indoor trampoline gym that offers "skyrobics" classes (which supposedly help you burn 1,000 calories) and it sounds like SO much fun. However, the classes are only on weekdays from 7-8 pm and that seems like a bad time for my schedule, mostly because I'd be starving by then if I don't eat dinner before the class. But if I eat dinner before, jumping up and down on a trampoline doesn't seem like the best thing to do right after eating. They also have Ultimate Dodge ball competitions for adults on a monthly basis, which sound like a fun way to rekindle your youth.
Maybe I'll do the $10 walk-in one day just to see how it is.
I tried a fancy (read: way overpriced) version of a Biore strip on my nose last night and it didn't work. Still have crap in my pores. I try to clean out my nose really well before a facial so the extraction part doesn't last as long.

One of the reviews on yelp for the trampoline gym:
"The only reason why I come here is that it's the only place I know where its socially acceptable to hit a nine year old with a dodge ball. That being said, I just want to make it clear that this review is in the perspective of a mid-20's single person, and not a soccer mom.
If you don't like kids though, then I'd suggest going at 9pm on Saturday night, where its 15 and up only. Plus, the tickets are cheaper than if you went during normal hours. Last time I went, they even served us two slices of Domino's pizza at the end of the night. But for all of you women that bruise like a peach, I'd suggest that you skip out on dodge ball those nights, since usually the guys' testosterone overshadows their chivalry."

It.IS.AMAZING! I LOVE LOVE the classes!
I agree though, the 7-8 sucks! I am famished by the time I get home and haven't been going because of it. Do they offer a Saturday class? Mine added a Saturday and an earlier class, but they are about 40 minutes away from me, so I rarely go anymore.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm definitely interested in trying it out. We had a big trampoline when I was a kid and I absolutely loved being on it (until it started getting worn and the springs started bouncing off randomly, haha).
The one closest to me doesn't have any weekend classes, only the 7-8 weekdays. You can go on weekends for just regular jumping, sky-dunk basketball, and dodgeball, but they don't have the skyrobics classes on Sat/Sun. I'll keep checking to see if they add one, though. They do have a groupon deal right now so I'm super tempted to buy that just to try out a couple of classes and see if it's as fun as it sounds!

Starting a novel with only a small inkling of a character and a first line has taken me to some interesting places. So far, it's led me to do cursory research on traumatic brain injury and cutting. On a somewhat related note, I'm starting to think I might be kinda twisted.

Don't you edit medical journals/docs? It makes sense.

Trampoline gym sounds awesome! I need to sign up for a gym. I want to get back into climbing and aerials, but it would be nice to have a workout to consistently do as well.
The crockpot chili I made was too spicy for me... At least we know what DH's is having for lunch tomorrow and Friday. And probably for dinner tomorrow too.
That happened one of the last times I made it. So I scooped a spoonful of Greek yogurt into my bowl, mixed it up and it toned down the spice and made it a creamy chili!
