This is the BR soft wash oxford in white, ordered during the 30% off sale.
The shirt is a tried and true choice in the other color I already have, but these buttons have a yellow tint that is pretty noticeable against the white shirt.
Would you simply return, as there are lots of white shirts in the sea, or bother with replacing buttons that blend better? Or do the buttons look ok to you?
Kare, it is strange! I just checked my other BR button ups and they have prettier white translucent buttons. And I just noticed a sloppy seam with loose threads on this shirt after I posted. Sigh...quality is dwindling everywhere these days.
They look old/yellowed, very weird. I mean I'm sure they're new, but that's what it looks like to me. I would only consider buying it and replacing the buttons IF you have a hard time finding a great fitting white shirt, and it's not a hassle for you to replace buttons. If neither is the case, I would pass and get something else.
Ok then, anyone have a white shirt rec? I have a more polished one from Brooks Bros, but I was looking for a more comfy casual one to suit my SAHM wardrobe.

Back it goes.
A BR button up I just bought had the same thing. It's a casual one and the sleeves can be cuffed. It's inside the sleeve part so I didn't notice it until I unrolled to wash it. I'm hoping it doesn't fall apart on me!
