~I'm sooooo glad it's Friday. I've been tired all week. It probably doesn't help it's been dark by the time I get home.
~I got an email from my supervisor that said that she appreciates my positive attitude. That made my whole day.
~I'm trying to get my Christmas stuff in order but I'm drawing a blank on what to get my bff. Any thoughts for a gift for someone who is eager to change her health?
Someone asked me if I was still doing the online dating thing this morning. This is the second time this week that someone at work has asked me if I am dating.
My workload has fluctuated today. Yay proof reading!
I'm dreading my day at work today. It's going to be nonstop from 9am until 3:30pm. As in, I'm not even sure when or if I'll have time to eat anything all day.

Nice work, doriswe! As for your friend, does she like to cook? If so, a healthy cookbook would be a good idea. Or cute workout headbands or clothes. Even a personal training gift certificate.

She loves cooking but for her (September) birthday, I got a healthy cookbook and some healthy cooking stuff. She's already got a personal trainer.
I'll ditto bullygirl979's suggestions. And I'll add that I just bought myself the Skinnytaste cookbook after years of following her blog and loving her recipes, and it's awesome. I plan to cook my way through the whole thing. It's super gift-able because the food porn photography looks amazing
Is it worth getting over just going to the blog and getting recipes there?

Does she run? Or lift weights? If so, a foam roller is a good gift.

I wanted to do that with the Bouchon Bakery cookbook. But I'm trying to lose weight
doriswe, how about a massage certificate or spa gift card as her first "reward" once she hits a milestone? It's always good to reward yourself for hard work, and that way she has something concrete to look forward to after 10-20 pounds etc

Not a bad idea! I was also tossing around the idea of getting her a g/c for family photos, since they've not had any professional ones done
Okay, I'm getting more ideas. What kind of workouts/sports does she do?
She's been focusing on losing weight/building strength. So it's pretty much just regular gym times with a trainer. They go for walks/bike rides with their DD.

Then I'd say an activity tracker or a foam roller.

I have an idea for Christmas cards...but it would require ugly Christmas sweaters. Which I have none. Wonder if I could borrow some from someone rather than buying them?

Thrift store?
Thing is, they're trendy now...so not terribly cheap. I need them for all of 5-10 minutes.
I have a gyno appointment this afternoon. And... TMI ahead. If he doesn't rip my IUD out today I might rip it out myself with pliers. I have been getting, on average, one yeast infection a month since I had it put in. I am nearly positive it is the IUD.
My client it at it again. They are now in Production. We do NOT do transactions on their stuff in Production. We have ZERO ass coverage if something were to go wrong in Production and they could sue us. So we DON'T do it. Well, we relented and did some this week to help them out but today I put my foot down and said no more. When they asked on our group call if we could help I simply said, "no". So the fucking bitch called me and told me my answer was inappropriate and unprofessional.
Do not attack my professionalism. DO NOT. This shit is personal now.
My nose keeps disappearing in pictures. I know I'm pale, but hot damn, I'm sick of looking like Voldemort. My freaking work badge is the latest tragedy, so I get to look at my noseless face for another year.
Also, hi, I'm back at work so I have more time to GBCN now.
