Please cross all your crossables that it will be brief and mild. Because I'm not sure how we're going to swing two full-time jobs, a 5 month old, no family in the same time zone, AND a whole bunch of mono.
Here's my theory: DD had a very mild cold about 5 weeks ago; that might have been her reaction to the virus (apparently it is very, very mild in babies). And mono has a 4-6 week incubation period, so the timing lines up.
At least I hope I got it from babies swapping spit at daycare, because any other possibility gives me the willies.

Lol. I got it three times and I wasn't kissing anyone who had it. It is spread through other bodily fluids so maybe baby snot?
She has two current admirers: H--, a younger man who rolled over onto Smocklette's head during gross motor play. Or R--, the mysterious older man who has been using Smocklette to stabilize himself as he pulls up to standing. Both seem to enjoy drooling on toys and then sharing with other babies.

I bet it was R. I've heard the rumors on the mom blogs. She needs to DTMFA.

Don't kids these days know to wrap it up, for protection and all?
I only feel a little bit bad that you have mono because this thread is so funny it almost seems worth it.
Sorry. My best advice is to resist caffeine as much as it might sound delicious and necessary. It made my naps not as easy or useful and the naps felt so much better than coffee. Take lots of naps.

I will do my best to nap! But it will be hard to resist the siren song of caffeine.
