I told my family we are engaged and they are super happy. My mom is going full planning mode but since we already set a date I think she's going to stay reasonable. My little brother's response was hilarious because for about 10 minutes he was convinced I was joking.
I'm going to share pics of me in wedding dresses now. I tried on a few others but they weren't deemed picture worthy.
This was my mom's top choice. It was super pretty but it didn't quite feel like MY super pretty dress.
This one was super flowey but It was a little too simple
I LOVED the bottom of this one but the top felt like a different dress.
Last the best. I ADORE this dress. My mother thinks it is one centimeter away from a wardrobe malfunction. Seriously though, I really love this dress. It is $1500 and it is so simple to make. I'm going to copy it and make it tea length for my reception dress. I think I'll make it slightly less clevage-ey to appease my Mother Goose.
You are gorgeous and I want your bod. I actually love the dress with the sleeves. You could pull it off. But I get what people are saying re: it looking formal or matronly

gault, I like it too. But (please don't be upset at me captainmel!) it needs someone with a bit more in the bust and maybe some slightly broader shoulders--it looks like it needs a taller, bustier person.
You are so cute in all of them! The top on that last one is very similar to my first wedding dress, except it was a halter. (My mom made it) I used some emergency double stick tape mid reception because apparently if you stood at the right angle you could see my nipple. I gave zero fucks but my MoH insisted, lol.
I also think if you are making a dress I hope you can make them all have pockets. That would have been so awesome. They were just starting to do that when I got married. I love pockets.

Totally not mad! I think you're totally right! I think if I were to wear that dress I would change the top a lot because it doesn't suit my body well.

I made my best friends wedding dress and we put pockets in it! Her mom was like... "What do you need pockets for...?" We both replied at the exact same time "stuff!!"

You look AMAZING in any of the dresses you posted. Congratulations!
I have to agree with your Mom that the first dress is my favorite. You look so amazingly delicate in that one! And the one with sleeves feels too old for you.
But you will look positively stunning in any of those dresses. Yay!
