I posted this on MM too, but thought I'd get your fabulous opinions.
My sister's turning 21, so I'm taking her to Vegas for the weekend after her birthday. We'll have one of my friends with us (likely) and 2-3 of her friends. So 5-6 girls total.
Trying to figure out: Best hotel to stay in. We're totally willing to share beds, but need to balance my desire for a nice hotel + college student budgets. This will be the second weekend in Sept, so a great pool would be fabulous.
Best clubs to go to. Bonus points for fun dancing/minimal cover charge. My plan was to get us on the list for a few.
Best pool party for Saturday day.
Thoughts/ideas? Needs to definitely cater toward a woo-girl younger crowd .
It's been years since I've gone clubbing in Vegas, so this might be old info, but I thought that a group of girls don't have to pay cover at a club.
We went to PURE and had a decent time there. I've also heard good things about XS and Tryst. I don't know if it's in the budget, but having bottle service changes everything, IMO. This probably makes me old, but the only way that you can get me to go clubbing in Vegas again is if you lure me in with bottle service. Just having a place to sit is nice.
Is there any chance that you can do the pool party on Sunday? Rehab is a great one.
Also, with that many girls it might be worth it to get a suite. You should be able to find a nice suite for $500 or less a night.

We went to vegas for my Bachlorette party. Our favorite clubs were PURE and LAX. I have also heard good things about Rain.
You can totally get on the list for free, just walk around the strip one day. We booked a limo service that got us into the clubs for free, but it totally wasn't worth the $$. We had people approach us all the time to ask if we wanted to get on guest lists.
Hotels - we stayed at NY NY, I was not impressed, but it was pretty inexpensive. If I had to do it again I'd stay at Mirage (who has a fab pool), the Wynn, or this other really nice new hotel that is inbetween Bellogio and NY NY, but I don't remember the name of it at the moment
I hear awesome things about I think we stayed at the Mirage. I think. Anyway, if it was the Mirage, it had recently been redone inside and was WAY nicer than I was expecting. It's the metallic one on the exterior, right? With the volcano?
I went last year with some girl friends- there were 4 of us total and I can honestly say it was the best Vegas experience ever.
We stayed at the Luxor- obvi not super the best but still totally fine for the 4 of us. And the pool was great, we spent a lot of time there.
I will 1,000 percent support bottle service!!! It was awesome!! It pays for cover and secures you a table and basically we had security guards guarding our table and drinks while we were on the dance floor. It was soooo great. Forget what the name is but we went to the club at the top floor of the Palms hotel.
One of the girls we went with would just call around and see what kind of guest lists we could be on. Had no idea you can do this. For example, we got into the after party for NKOTBSB with no cover charge.
Emy, "knowing" you and assuming your sister is similar, I would recommend staying at the Cosmopolitan I've heard great things.
I've stayed at the Wynn, Palazzo, and Monte Carlo and they were all nice (monte carlo was a bit more budget friendly). They all had amazing pools (maybe try to see if everyone will chip in for a poolside cabana?) The nice thing at Monte Carlo was the lazy river, but at the Wynn they also had lawn chairs in the shallow end of the pool which for me, was the same purpose.
I'm definitely not the one to ask advice on clubs - I go to Vegas for the pools
this is awesome, thanks girls. I'm definitely thinking about shelling out for a cabana and bottle service. totally seems the way to go. and yea, my sister is basically me, but 5 years younger, lol.
Yes, I would definately recommend the Cosmopolitan. We stayed there last August for my 21st. We got terrible service but I'm hoping it improved. It is really nice and pretty much in the middle of the strip. Nice pools. We didn't go to their club, Marquee, but it definately seems to be one of the popular ones right now.
We went to the Chippendales and that was fun, they put on a good show. If she's outgoing tell them it's her 21st and dress her up and she will get some attention ; ) (They have some kind of birthday package where you get a crown and sash or something, I'm super shy and wanted to watch from afar, unoticed lol.)
