Had a monitoring appt at the RE this morning. My lead follicle only grew from 11-14 from Monday-Thursday, so that's not very encouraging. Also the blood draw was the worst I've ever had. Ouch. Can't wait to see the bruise.
Getting my eyes checked and going to get contacts for the first time since high school later this morning!

MrsMB - That sucks! I hope your car isn't too badly damaged!
My parents had discussed visiting earlier in the fall. The leaves would have been changing and my mom would have loved exploring and taking pics. Now that it's freezing they have decided to come for Thankgiving. I'm really happy and excited, but trying to figure out what to plan to occupy our time now that we will be stuck indoors. Holiday shopping can take up some time but they are on a fixed income, so I need to come up with other things to do.
Oh, no! I'm kind of worried about driving to work this morning, because it's the first day below freezing with ice on the road and I don't want some idiot to slide into my car.
Thanks guys Yes, all is well. I was scratching my face when he hit me so my nail dug in real good up my face. My car is completely fine. The way my car jolted forward, I seriously thought he took my bumper off. Nope....you can barely tell he hit me. HILARIOUS waste of an hour this morning. (As of 2 hour later though...feeling nauseous and my neck is hurting. I'm sure it's nothing....just annoying.)
ginkgoleaf Many hugs....so sorry the appointment didn't go better.
Working from home today! I have a pretty big to-do list and hope that I can make progress on it. Just got back from my walk and am on a conference call from work.
Yesterday was hugely productive- 9 out of my 10 freezer meals are done! I will make the last one today...such a relief to have this off my plate!
I just went out and did a few quick errands before H has to work. I have to get the house cleaned and ready for my dad arriving late this afternoon. Lots to do around here. Then I'm cooking dinner this evening! My tree is lit and on and it makes me so happy <3
MrsMB, glad you're okay! Sorry your day started of crappy, though!
Big hugs ginkgoleaf, I'm sorry your appointment didn't go well.
My H is working from home this morning to give me some sleep He didn't even tell me, just let me wake up at 10:30 feeling semi-human. Milo has been waking up every hour or so at night, and I've been getting him myself because H has a cold (and I wake up first anyway, so no point in both of us waking up), so I am exhausted.
Here's a random story: we're friends with three sisters, and one of them got married three weeks ago to a man she'd only been dating since the beginning of the year. They were exclusively long distance, so now they're living together for the first time. One of the other sisters told me that the one who just got married somehow neglected to tell her new husband that she can't drive. So he's been leaving her the car when he BIKES to work every day, so she can go explore their new town (nothing is in walking distance). And she still hasn't told him! OMG, I wouldn't be mad she never mentioned it before, but I would be mad if she made me bike to work for no reason!
DH is with me at the new house right now. I was here yesterday and found out our pipes had frozen and we didn't have water. He cameand worked on it last night and left a heater running in the garage over night. He is going into work this afternoon cause thankfully the water started working again about 30 mins ago. We wrapped everything up better then it was. So glad we have water cause MIL is coming over to help me clean today.
bk1 I'm glad your H fixed the pipes. Last winter the pipes behind our bathroom sink froze and burst through the drywall, flooding the bathroom and some of the carpet in the bedroom. We had to call a plumber to come out to repair the pipe. For the rest of the witner we let the faucet drip very slightly. It was a big hassle, one I hope to never repeat.
katiek- that's funny. I would be mad to if I had to bike to work for no reason. And lol to the fact that the girl married someone who doesn't know something basic like she doesn't drive.

I filed a claim through rent.com for the $100 gift card saying we found our apt there...just got a call from the apt complex manager and instead of going through rent.com, she's willing to give us $150 off next month's rent. Sweet!
I guess rent.com charges them a big fee for anyone finding them there.
