Oops, sorry for the delay in responding! Puppy parenting (and in particular puppy-with-diarrhea parenting) is exhausting! But she is adorable, and so sweet-tempered, and we're so lucky to have her. Her name is Marley. DS named her, which is funny because I don't think he knows anything about the book/movie. I think he picked it because the name the rescue had given her was Karlie, and he just said he liked Marley better.
OMG how cute is she? I agree - puppy parenting is so crazy - I feel like the next dog I get will be a puppy ONLY IF I am at home to care for him/her. Translation = when I am retired! And that my friends is a long way off!
She is absolutely adorable! Our foster went to her forever home last week, and I've been missing the puppy antics and snuggles.
Wow, I'm so awed by people who foster. It's such an amazing thing to do, but I can't imagine how hard it would be...especially to let them go at the end, even if you know they're going to a good placement.

Some of our fosters have been pretty easy to let go because, while they were great dogs, they weren't a great fit for the family. Our last two have been pretty rough. One was a lab/border collie mix who was just about the most perfect dog ever and then this puppy that we found and was never claimed (we listed her through a local pit rescue so that she could be vetted and spayed). I just keep reminding myself that if we keep them all, we'll never be able to take more in to find better homes. Also, I need to not become a crazy dog lady.
