Horrible night. I sleep like crap when dh isn't here and I have been up since 3. Mix of me and both girls waking up. I have mastered side lying bfing though, score! And since dd1 was up for a few hours last night she is still sleeping. I've asked bil to come stay with me bc I need sleep. I'm a baby, flame away.

Horrible sleep night. Plus my grampa got taken to the hospital via ambulance last night and I kept waking up to check my phone. Being across the country is hard.

I leave tomorrow for a week for work and H has come down with a mancold. So DD and I will hit the grocery store after gym class and I will make chicken soup during naptime. Hopefully he kicks it; at least the first part is during the week so he can take her to daycare and take a sick day if he has to
Plus, despite Sundays usually being family day, work is happening on the house today (meaning my dad and 2 other guys will be here) - so our usual Sunday nap sex probably won't happen. Hopefully we feel up to it this evening or it's going to be a long week!

I don't believe in being without help for the first 2 months, so no flames from me. With another kid, you deserve an extra 2 months, too!
Well I don't think he will be much help but he will protect me against my irrational fears of being robbed or something worse
I'm up and bored. My husband and E are going to visit a friend today but I'm not feeling it. I had a huge event for work on Friday (gala for several hundred) that I was in charge of and I am still exhausted. I think I'll lounge and watch stuff on the DVR.

No flaming. I wish I had a BIL to come stay with me. We transferred DS to the crib last night and he woke up a bunch of times (I lost track), many of them just for me to walk across the hall and put a pacifier in his mouth. And then once I had gotten out of bed, I had a hard time going back to sleep.
dh's alarm went off at 5 and now he's running a race OOT for the day. DS woke up again a couple of times after that and now we're up for the day.
My throat hurts. I could just be worn down or I could be coming down with the strep throat DD had diagnosed on Friday. I'm hoping its not the latter because I actually have work to do this week for the first time in almost a month.
So DD is perfectly normal when sick…laughs, smiles, plays. Except when it comes to sleep, then she is completely different. I presume this is par for the course when it comes to babies.
I am still driving out to a local outlet mall to see my BFF with her, to have brunch and go shopping. I need the outing and she sleeps fine in the car most times.
I can't believe it. DS STTN and woke up at 7:50! We ate a gingerbread house together before bed last night, so I thought for sure he'd have nightmares and be up all night. It certainly took him awhile to fall asleep, like 45 mins and many many callbacks to his room. But nope! STTN and slept in!
I'm using the bathroom, and DS just flung open the bathroom door and said "OH! Momma want pri-form (privacy)" and slammed the door and ran off. Uh, yes I do, thanks for announcing it to the world.
M didn't do too great in his magic sleepsuit. Hoping tonight will be better.
We're headed to church for a baptism class. We'll stay for worship if M cooperates. Then the ILs' friends are having a "meet the baby" party this afternoon. It doesn't start until 4:30 (clearly they haven't been around babies in awhile!), so I hope he's not too fussy!
Doing yoga today with BILs GF as the start of my attempt to get back in shape. The plan is to pop in one of my DVD s but I'm not sure how this will work with DD and her nap routine. I predict many inturruptions.
She's been off since yesterday. All last week things have been better. She cries much less and followed a predictable routine. Yesterday was nuts. Wouldn't eat but wanted to eat, sleep was non existant, constant crying. This morning she seems to be following the same trend and i hope this isn't a sign of what this week will be.
lol. I was so excited that I accidently started a new thread.
st checking in from our hotel room. We actually slept until 7:30! lol I halfway hope that my kids slept in for my parents, but I halfway hope that they pulled a 5:45 wakeup again. I need them to get the full experience Dad sounded exhausted when I checked in last night.
We ended up seeing St. Vincent last night, which was fabulous. But you guys, did you know that movie tickets are $11?!? I had no idea.
Off to brunch. I'm going to finish my eggs BEFORE they get cold today
I woke up with a mixing wine and beer headache. Thankfully that's gone now. We're installing large pantry cabinets today in our kitchen! Yay. I can finally stop storing appliances and cook wear on an IKEA table in our kitchen.
DH and I went out last night and got a babysitter for the first time in a long time. My parents usually take the girls overnight at their house but they are doing that for us next weekend and I didn't want to ask them for two weekends in a row. We got home around 2 am and DDs were awake at 6:30

DH and DD are on a Costco/grocery run, so I'm drinking coffee and watching it snow in peace. DD has been so whiny the past few days, and my patience is wearing thin. DH is a saint for still insisting on just the two of them going out for groceries despite the ridiculous meltdowns DD was having immediately before they left.

I signed into My Fitness Pal for the first time in 26 months. Time to lose the last of my baby weight so I can get a new wardrobe for the new year!
Still not sure how I'm going to fit in exercise since I'm not rejoining the gym until January. Pushing a 40lb 2.5yo in the BOB while wearing the newborn has to burn some calories, right?

M has a cold so had been up a little earlier then normal the past couple days but still later then a lot of you so I won't complain.
Have to work a couple hours today then not much else on the books. Just trying to keep M entertained. The hardest is between his afternoon nap and dinner. We use to always just head outside but now it is dark and cold. :-(

DD was up at 5:20 but tried really hard to get back to sleep til 7. So fuss, shift, sleep, rinse repeat for 1.5 hours. She's getting molars, so she's pretty crabby too. Different kid after Tylenol!
We have a birthday party to go to today so we kept her up til 10:30, 1.5 hours last her nap time and hopefully she'll take a long nap so she's happy at the party.
We had a mini session with Santa this morning. DS was not impressed with Santa at all. We got plenty of hilarious crying pictures. Then once it was time to leave, DS decided he liked Santa and started playing with all the toys in the studio.
Thankfully, even though we were past our time, the photographer grabbed the camera and got a lot of smiling, happy pictures. I can't wait until she posts them... Although, I think I prefer crying pictures, lol
