Pup gobbled his food quickly and then turned around and was sick.
H woke up on the wrong side of the bed and is super grumpy. He wants to stay home from work but doesn't feel sick. I told him to stay home with the sick dog. He perked up, then decided that no, he'd go into work anyways because he's a better human than I am since he doesn't ever stay home and use any of his sick time. He loses 9 hours in a month if he doesn't use it, but nope not using it today.
I called him out for being a grump, and then I asked him to take the trash bag with the vomit out to the garage. It's still sitting (wide open because he didn't bother to tie it) and now the kitchen smells.
This is one of those days where I would like to daydream about my alternate life.
I am also contemplating skipping my afterschool meeting to come home and check on pup. But then I'm losing out on $60 since it's a paid meeting. Would have preferred it if H would have just stayed home.
I'll be at a job fair most of the day. I don't look forward to job fairs. BUT this one is for veterans and their families, so it will be better I always like supporting the troops!
Someone left a bottle of chocolate milk in the rig we are using today for an unknown amount of time. It smells so bad in there. I am not a happy camper!

I am doing the schedule for Thanksgiving...I am about ready to go insane (like fetal position in the corner of my office insane). I am trying to meet everyone's needs so they can spend time with their families, but the Medicare rules for therapy are making it very difficult.
I am taking a personal day. I had awful nightmares all night and I feel like I got no sleep. I woke up achy and my voice was scratchy and I REFUSE to get sick before our vacation next week, so I am going to try to sleep it off today at home.
I am craving a big bowl of homemade chicken noodle soup. If I get the energy up, I may go to the grocery store later and make some.

We were doing so well with moving expenses until this week...last night we did big trips to Bed Bath & Beyond and Target and came home and ordered more stuff from Amazon. Ugh. It's all stuff we need but I still feel like I'm going to have a heart attack.

My random is a little AW-ish. I ran my fastest mile ever today. I hate running and am slow. I ran it in 9:59 which for me is awesome. Prior to that, my fastest mile was 10:29. Prior to starting Crossfit it was +12mins.

jjwritergirl Forever? We signed a one year lease and I'm really hoping we want to stay beyond that. The only thing I can see being a major factor down the road is if we do have a kid because being on a 4th floor walk up with a baby sounds miserable.
I'd love to buy a house again but not happening in this neighborhood!
I am going to stay in bed all day. I have a sore throat and a headache. Ugh it's going to be a lazy day today.
((hugs)) Hope you feel better soon! My cold started off the same way on Friday...planned on taking it really easy but stuff came up with mom and had to help out. I'm paying for it now (although today is better than yesterday). Praying you are able to fight it off fast.
@stargazer Last minute business trips are the worst! I'm sorry that happened. Maybe crafts are in order while he's OOT. Or decorating for the Holidays
I worked at 530 this morning until a few minutes ago. I am doing my final grocery shop this evening while H is at work. He worked from 7am-10pm today poor him!
Kinda @ related - Just found out that as of Dec 1, my work is now giving 12 weeks paid ML instead of 8! Doing a happy dance right now! Yay! My bosses are going to have fun with scheduling though since half of us are pregnant and due in Jan, Feb and Apr, lol. What sucks though is some people, like one of my coworkers, bought a week of PTO (I didn't). Now that they get 12 weeks, they don't want that extra week, haha. So she is contacting HR to see if she can cancel it since our open enrollment was done 5 days ago. Great timing! If not, oh well, that's tons of time off regardless and I love it! I have a bad feeling I'm never leaving this job, lol.
