This photoshoot was ridiculously hard. To get my 2 1/2 yr old to cooperate we had to throw popcorn at him. On the ground. The nasty ass ground in an alley. I may have gotten side eyed a couple times by people passing by.
And because he's 2 1/2 the popcorn was HIS POPCORN. So of course when his big sister snatched some up, all hell broke loose.
But look at these!! So happy with what she captured. The silly snapshots are my absolute favorite. Someday I'm going to look back at these and wonder why I was so stressed out. Their personalities totally shine throughout.
Crying kid pictures are my favorite. I think they're hilarious. This might earn me a one way ticket to hell, but I can't help it.
Your family is presh.
I don't know why, but I love them too. I spent so much time trying to get him to smile but the best ones are when he's losing it. Same with Santa pics. He lost it last year. LOVED THOSE PICTURES. I'll sit next to you on that bus ride to hell.
Great photos! I love that the behind the scene story is never as glamorous as the photos would suggest...unless you are a mommy-blogger...then everything is always perfect.

Last year we ended up in the ER with my son after our family pics. He was being SUCH a pill at the photoshoot and ended up running off to play on the playground nearby and face-planted on a metal step. Cream colored sweater soaked with blood everywhere. At one point he was screaming blood AT ME. I swear to God, I was having an anxiety attack. Fast forward to a couple weeks later and I see the pictures and they are ADORABLE. No one would have guessed the crazy shit that followed after. My DD is a trooper. She has learned to smile through the chaos.
