Well, I'm if the belief that the state should not be executing people at all, so on that front I don't like this. But if we're accepting capital punishment then I see no issue with this. It will likely be very quick and it's over since it have several trained marksmen doing it.

I agree. Execution is execution as long as it's quick. This seems more humane than the botched, hours long lethal injections of late but I think a country with such a bad track record for imprisoning the innocent shouldn't be executing anyone. Except maybe child molesters. That's my hypocritical belief.
I would hate to be the person that's a part of the firing squad. I heard only one person has real bullets so nobody knows who fired the kill shot (not sure if accurate) but I still couldn't imagine standing in that line.
Would you rather be the medical professional breaking the Hippocratic oath by administering the lethal injection to a healthy person?

I'm opposed to capital punishment, but it is supposed to be one of the more humane forms. Kansas doesn't execute very many people, but we hear about the issues with Missouri and their executions.
has anyone lost a loved one at the hands of someone else?
I'm pro death penalty, shocker, right? Maybe because I've seen stuff that still haunts me to this day.
also have to look at the chance of missing and actual human suffering. I feel like that would be less with a bullet vs electric chair or IV. They don't just hand John Doe off the street a rifle, they have a marksman come in with fellow marksman- 3 blanks and one with an actual hallow point.
what needs reviewed is the length of time on death row- it shouldn't be years.
