I learned last year that they get truck deliveries twice a day the week or so leading up to thanksgiving at my local wegmans. I will be doing my thanksgiving shopping Monday or Tuesday when the store first opens because I refuse to go this weekend. I did buy my turkey tonight just to have at least the most important part covered. LOL
I just got back an hour or so ago from HEB. It wasn't nearly as busy as it was last Saturday. Everything was stocked well. And they had who medjool dates on sale. Mmmmmmmmm. Basically, I love HEB. Suck it, non-Texas grocery stores.
I'm on vacation all week so I'm going Monday. I just need to figure out what I"m getting in the way of food. I know which household supplies I need, just can't decide on food.

I love it in general, except my local HEB has crappy produce. If I need really good produce, I have to go to Kroger or make a special trip to the farmer's market.

Every time DH and I talk about moving out of TX, we always decide we'd miss HEB the most (not our families lol)!

I know! We're probably moving out of state next year and I'm already planning a massive shopping trip before we leave.
