I usually have our Thanksgiving menu planned out pretty well in advance. This year however, it's the Saturday before and I'm just pulling a list together now.
What kinds of appetizers do you usually eat on Tgiving? We do bacon wrapped scallops every year because they are a few of our guests' favorite. We also typically have 1 other app that changes every year just to try something new. I'm stumped on what to make this year. I need it to be something that is quick and easy to pull together, and microwave friendly would be preferred since we have so much we need to use the oven for.
I'm doing a cheese, charcuterie, & fruit plate. It's delicious, easy, requires no oven or microwave, and I know everyone will eat it. I'll probably do brie, blue cheese, fancy cheddar, two types of crackers, some meats, grapes and apples.

BBQ Kielbasa bites (crockpot) - I'm going this b/c we always had kielbasa with the meal but I thought an app would be a fun twist. (I think the tradition stems back to the Russian side of the family)
We always do spinach dip with baguette and veggies, several cheeses and crackers. Often some marinated mushroooms or artichokes too becase h's Italian family grew up eating those.
