I really regret teaching Lucy the days of the week and how to tell time. Now there's noooo way to get away with skipping mass. I don't feel like it today ugh. Then cheer practice 1-3, then dinner w my parents, nephew and sister. I'm tired already lol
Going to a Texans game with the kids. It should be fun! Might be awkward because our tickets are box tickets a vendor gave dh before he lost his job. :/

I'm up waiting for a Melissa and Doug lightening deal on Amazon. It starts in 20 or so minutes and there is one for L and A. Then I'm going back to sleep. H was cranky last night and I was up a while with A.

Thanksgiving meal planning and shopping. Hope to finish up a pillow cover I started late last night before my new fabric arrives on Tuesday. Looking forward to two days off this week!

Am I insane for going to Trader Joe's this morning? I don't have to do major shopping; just a few quick things. In my head it will be less crowded than a bigger grocery store, but now I'm not so sure.
I was suppose to run that half marathon this morning, but instead I wound up going out dancing last night for my girlfriends birthday. It was so much fun and so worth missing the race for. Although after a year of not drinking it now only takes a rum and coke to give me a slight hangover. That's not so much fun.
Today it's actually going to be decent out so we're going to head to the park. I might also make my MIL an apron for Thanksgiving using Ollie's hands and feet. Should be cute.

I just walked to the coffee shop down the street and got myself a coffee and bomb-ass bagel. BF is still sleeping. Today, we'll meet my friend's new baby! This makes 4 under 5 for her. LOL
Going out to breakfast and the cleaning some more. We're hosting thanksgiving, so I need to spruce up the place. I'm not so thrilled since I have to work 12a-10a Black Friday, but at least the house will be clean!
We arrived at my parents' house last night and woke up to real snow (the first H and I have seen in seven years and the first of DS2's whole life) this morning. I like looking at it through the window, but the thought of driving in it is reminding me of why we live in Texas now.
I think later on we might go to Big Hero 6 and the grocery store. I really don't care what we do as long as it's indoors.
H and I are going to the Eagles game today. It looks like it's supposed to be much nicer today than it has been all week. Fingers crossed because I hate being cold!
Spending this morning doing some cleaning, laundry and meal planning for the week and Thanksgiving.
I bought two big bookshelves from Target for my birthday, and brought them home yesterday. I'm hoping I can put them together myself, because H hates furniture assembly and goes into frustrated-beast-mode easily when he tries. I'd like to avoid a potential mood from him. Then later we're going to his parents for dinner. I'd kind of like to stop at Lowes on the way so we can pick up some new Christmas lights.
Last night was date night and we went for yummy Italian, I had amazing gelato, then the hockey game with amazing seats. A slept at my SILs, so I slept till 8, had great morning sex, and am now drinking coffee in the quiet house. Today is the best.
Hosting Friendsgiving in a few hours. Actively trying to talk myself out of a glass of the honey crisp apple cider sangria that's been marinating since yesterday.
Such a fun day tailgating. My dad ended up slipping at the game and his knee gave out. So I watched the 2nd half at the ER. It isn't broken and he will get a MRI this week.
Relaxing today. IT is rainy and cold. We have a dinner tonight with a friend.
Instead of giving each other Christmas gifts, DH and I decided to hire someone local to rake our leaves. The guy came just when he said he would Friday morning. I had to leave the house at noon and paid him then. He told me he had a friend picking him up for lunch but that he would be leaving his stuff here. Of course he didn't come back but left his rake and gloves.
Yesterday morning I had to leave early. When I came home he had apparently been back, did about a half-hour of work, took his stuff and left. He did a little more than half of what we paid him to do so today we'll be raking. Lesson learned.
After raking I have laundry and days of cleaning to do. And I haven't shopped for TG yet. Oh boy, it's going to be a busy few days (I'm off from work.)
I'm trying to decide if I should go to the Walgreens clinic tomorrow to rule out strep. I'm pretty sure I don't have it, but my throat is killing me. I think it's sinus drainage. I don't really want to bother, but probably better safe than sorry since I'm flying on Wednesday.
I forgot the suit jacket that matches my pants at home, so I'm wearing grey pants with a tan suit jacket at work. I look stupid.

Long gross hot humid run done. It was like August out there after such a glorious running week of cold weather. Booooooo go away heat! Chili simmering now H's friend will be here soon to watch football I'll work on detox before you retox (lol) yoga lesson plans Clean a bit Get food prepared for the week Relax a bit
Putting up the Christmas tree, laundry, getting ready to go OOT. I made my cheddar biscuits for breakfast and DH asked if I was going to make them for TG. I said it depends on how crazy it is at his grandmother's house (40 people and it's not big enough! Where will all these people fit?!) He's calling his aunt who lives down the street to see if I can use her kitchen. He says he wants to show off my biscuits (Har har).
I may have done a little strutting around. His family is full of southerners who make amazing fattening food and whenever he raves about my food I get a little cocky.

The cat woke me up at 745. It is now 1015 and H is still sleeping. I am so jealous. I am worried that I'm not going to find a small turkey that's not frozen. I am cooking one for my 4th grade students for a celebration we're having on Tuesday. I kind of dropped the ball on making sure I'd have it in time to thaw.
Another swim meet for DD. DS is handing out Thanksgiving baskets at a community center today.
Went to Aldi for Thsnksgiving shopping at about 5:30 last night-perfect time to go. Gotta love Aldi- bought everything for Thankgiving (except booze) for $60.
It's pouring here. Pouring. So we're settled in front of Jake and the Neverland Pirates for awhile, then gym daycare, then I might take the kids around the block to jump in puddles.
My neighbor and I are going to the "flagship" Goodwill store during the kids' naps.
Thank God I did all the grocery shopping yesterday.
Just finished a 4 mile race. My company does a team for this annual race; I'm not a runner so I walk it with a couple others who don't run. Now waiting for my train home. I have half an hour to wait, so I'm getting a latte and going to buy trashy magazines.
This afternoon will be unpacking some boxes from storage, laundry and grocery shopping.

I'm letting my kid feign sickness today because he doesn't want to play LAX because then I don't have to sit in the stands talking to other moms. He's totally not sick but he doesn't know I know. He's up there feigning like a champ. I raise them right, for sure!

Go very soon and you should be fine for a few things. It will almost certainly be quite crowded though. Ours is INSANE right now, almost worse than Costco, but we are also big about TJs here
