Help with the Alton Brown Turkey recipe

My friend just did a turkey that size for Friendsgiving. I don't know if she was following the AB recipe, but she did brine it, and she cooked it for 5 hours.

Edit: the chart here also says 4.5 - 5 hours for 20 - 24 lbs.
