I got her the princesses and their horses last Easter and she loves how they klip klop. I thought if she got the stables she would enjoy it. It's just that I see all younger kids playing with it in all the pictures. (DD is 3.5) I think the toy starts at 1.5 years
I had originally planned on getting one for DD and getting my niece the stable set and the set of extra princesses and horses. (FYI there is a target cartwheel for 40% off)
Right now DD is playing with the little people airplane set...so I am sure she will like it right? She has a big imagination so she tends to play with toys like this for a long time creating scenarios and etc.
And did I use the wrong form of to/too in my subject...it looks funny.
Nope you used the correct one
As for your op, if she will like it, I say why not? My friends with kids older than my ds (he's 20 months) said they got a lot of mileage out of little people. That set is totally cute!
I think the age range on most Little People toys is 1.5-5 years. My almost 7 year old still pulls out our Little People farm and zoo sets from time to time. If she enjoys playing with it, I say go for it!
If she loves the horses you have then go for it; with the cartwheel I think it's only $24? My mom just got it for my niece who is about 2.75. DD2 is 3.25 and she'd like it, we just don't need more of that kind of toy.
My DD got it for her second birthday (last year) it is still one of her favorite toys. We bought her Belles Klop house in the summer. If she didn't have all the princess Klops they sell separately already we would be getting her more for Christmas this year.

I'll dissent, but it could be just my kid. Reese NEVER really liked Little People Sets at all. We had a ton of them, and she never played with them. (Including the stable) I just packed them all away. She loves playsets and things like that, but I think the people were just too big to go with it. I don't know.
Does she still play with other little people sets? I think that would be a bigger clue. It is an adorable set, but if your child is like mine and never touched LP toys, I wouldn't get it.

This is us. Dd got the lp castle last year for Christmas and didn't olay with it for long. She told me we could get rid if it when I talked about getting rid of some toys. I'm going to hold off until after we go to Disneyland in February, I think she might change her mind after seeing it herself and meeting the princesses.

DS got the little people Farm, zoo and Noah's ark for his first Christmas (10 months. Yes I'm crazy). He didn't actually start playing with them until About 6 months ago

Not just your kid. Joey was never a huge fan. We have the train, the pirate ship and the air plane. He plays with them here and there but never uses the people. He just likes modes of transportation lol. Mallory sucking on the figures is the most playing they've seen in 2 1/2 years.
But OP said her DD has some and likes to play with them so I don't think she's too old for them.
She's into them. I'm going to go for it. She also likes to take the little people places in her purse haha. I am now even thinking of getting the little people vehicles for Joey.. Thanks everyone!
