Best place to stay in Puerto Rico?

For two weeks with kids. I would love to stay at the Ritz in Dorado but two weeks there is $$$$$

We stayed at the Caribe Hilton and loved it.

For a stay of 2 weeks I'd check into vrbo.

We stayed at LaConcha and really liked it. I think you could do two weeks there, but I agree with pp that VRBO may be better.

Does it have to be San Juan proper? You can probably find a good VRBO in Luquillo or Dorado with all the condo developments there and the beaches are very nice in that area. Plus, you're super close to El Yunque.

Rent a condo on Isla Verde beach. You can get a 2 bedroom for about 100.00 per night.

Would you plan to stay in one location/area?  Two weeks would give you time to go around the island.  I love the west coast, particularly Rincon. I agree with looking at a rental if possible.

I grew up there so I am familiar with the island. My brother still lives there but he has an apartment and we wouldn't fit comfortably at his place. I have asked him for help finding a rental but he is "too busy with work". For this trip we want to stay in either Dorado or Isla Verde /Condado so we are close to him and my nieces but also close to the beach.
